With Solos, our trips are specifically designed for solo skiers, meaning no singles supplements, and you’ll meet a group of like-minded travellers to enjoy a drink with at the après, after soaking up the stunning views and cruising down the French Alps.
France Ski Holidays
Essential Information
January and March are the perfect months. Snow conditions are great in both months, and both are typically quieter on the slopes, compared to the December or Feburary peaks in the school holidays.
In January you’ll find fewer crowds, a higher likelihood of fresh powder days, but the chillier conditions that come with that. In March, there’s typically a great balance of beautiful conditions, with the days starting to get longer and the temperatures warming up.
The French resorts are famous for their apres, where you’ll find buzzy bars, iconic mountain venues, and live music.
A Solos ski trip truly offers something for every skier. For those that like to indulge at apres, you can count on a good scene in France, or for those that prefer to take it easy after a long day on the slopes, both of our French ski tips include free access to the hotel spa area, where you can rest those legs in the pool, jacuzzi, or sauna.
