Tour Leaders
Your Tour Leader accompanies the group for the duration of the holiday and is your main point of contact while you’re away. They are there to ensure everything runs smoothly—from helping you settle in, coordinating plans, and arranging days out, to dealing with any issues that may arise. If you have any questions or concerns during your holiday, please speak to your Tour Leader directly.
While Tour Leaders oversee the overall experience, they are not local experts. For specialist local knowledge, excursions, and destination-specific insight, we work with trusted local guides.
If you need additional support

Keeping you informed
If the Solos team needs to share any important information that may affect your holiday—such as flight updates—this will be communicated via email. Please ensure we have your most up-to-date contact details before you travel.
Once in resort, your Tour Leader will keep you informed of any relevant travel advice, weather disruption, or local conditions that may impact your holiday.

Our team is available Monday to Saturday, 9:30am – 5pm, and no question is ever too small. If you need advice, clarity, or just a friendly voice at the other end of the phone, we’re here when you need us.
We know many of our customers prefer to fly from an airport closer to home, which is why we offer regional flight options on many of our holidays. This can make travelling easier and more comfortable from the very start of your trip.
Regional departures are available from a number of UK airports, including Manchester, Birmingham, Edinburgh, East Midlands, Liverpool, and Exeter, with additional options often available depending on your chosen holiday.

You’ll have the opportunity to connect with your fellow Solos travellers even before your holiday begins.
Shortly before departure, we’ll send you an invitation to join a dedicated WhatsApp group for your holiday. This group includes your Tour Leader and everyone travelling on your trip, giving you the chance to say hello, ask questions, and start getting to know one another before you set off. Many guests find this a great way to ease any pre-travel nerves and feel part of the group from the very beginning.
Joining the WhatsApp group is completely optional. If you’d rather not take part, that’s absolutely fine — you can simply meet the group in person on your first day of the holiday, where your Tour Leader will be on hand to welcome you and help everyone settle in.
If you haven’t received your WhatsApp invitation within 24 hours of departure, please remember to check your email junk or spam folder, as messages can occasionally land there.
