About the resort
Nabq Bay, located at the northern tip of Sharm El Sheikh, is a tranquil and ecologically rich destination that offers a blend of natural beauty and modern amenities. As part of the Nabq Protected Area, it is renowned for its diverse ecosystmes, including mangrove forests, coral reefs and desert landscapes. Swimming and snorkelling are popular activities, and a shuttle bus takes you into the area of Naama Bay for those that wish to explore further afield.

Poolside or beachfront
The Aurora Oriental offers a great beachfront location, a choice of pools (1 heated in the winter), a spa* (*treatments at an extra cost), sports facilities and a choice of bars. If you fancy a change to the pool, the private sandy beach offers stunning views over Tiran Island and a cool beach bar. Shops, bars and restaurants are a short walk away if you'd like to get out and about.

More to Explore
If you'd like to explore the surrounding area, consider visiting Egypt’s first national protection park—Ras Mohamed, taking a White Island boat trip with the chance to see marine life from the Aquascope Submarine, or enjoying a city tour of Old Sharm. Gratuities

There is often confusion on the question of gratuities, since it frequently depends on the type of holiday, location and, of course, your attitude towards tipping, as to what is normally expected. In order to give you a rough idea, we have given appropriate guidance below. Your Tour Leader will be on hand to offer advice or suggestions if required but gratuities are offered entirely at the sole discretion of the individual. We suggest a group collection to cover drivers, porters and hotel staff of £15.00.
Your Tour Leader will collect this on your behalf and distribute it accordingly, thus relieving you of the burden of who, when and how much to tip. The tipping of housekeeping will be left to your individual discretion (a small amount left in your room on departure should cover this and would be much appreciated). As is customary, ‘the hat’ will be passed around for the driver and guide on all optional excursions. For any meals that are not included in your itinerary, or taxi fares, your Tour Leader can advise of an appropriate % to add on.
Optional Excursions

Please note:- Optional excursions are not guaranteed, are based on minimum numbers and bookable locally. The prices quoted are guideline only and may involve other non-Solos holiday makers. Other tours may be offered locally.
