    Alonissos, surrounded by 25 uninhabited islets, is home to the National Marine Park, established in 1992 to protect the rare Mediterranean monk seal. Explore the picturesque whitewashed town and discover the serene, authentic side of the Aegean. Skopelos enchants with its traditional whitewashed houses, winding cobbled streets, and over 380 historic churches. A perfect setting for a leisurely stroll and a chance to immerse yourself in the island's laid-back charm.

 
  • Skiathos Wine Tasting
          Nestled among privately owned vineyards, the modern Parissis Winery produces vinate wines that reflect the unique character of the Skiathos ecosystem.
 
          Visitors are warmly invited to explore the winery and learn more about its story. The tour begins in the vineyard, which is exclusively planted with indigenous Greek
          grape varieties. Here, you'll discover how the vines are cultivated and maintained throughout the seasons. Next, you'll visit the winemaking and bottling facilities, 
          where you'll gain insight into the wine production process and learn about the distinct qualities of each grape variety.
 
          The experience concludes in the tasting area - a simple, elegant space harmoniously integrated into the natural landscape. From here, you can enjoy panoramic 
          views of Skiathos' port while sampling a selection of the winery's signature wines.

Dress Code
Casual, cotton,  lightweight daytime wear is the order of the day. Comfortable shoes are a must for sightseeing. Smart casual clothes will be ideal for the vening, with the emphasis throughout being informal but with no shorts or vests in the restaurants in the evenings. Early and late season evenings can be cool, so do ensure that you take a cardigan or jacket and even some rainwear.
Gratuities
We suggest a Group Collection to cover transfer drivers nd hotel staff of €20.00 per person. Your Tour Leader will collect this on your behalf and distribute it accordingly, thus relieving you of the burden of who, when and how much to tip. The tipping of housekeeping will be left to your individual discretion (a small amount left in your room on departure should cover this and would be much appreciated). As is customary, 'the hat' will be passes around for the driver and guide on all optional excursions. For any meals that are not included in your itinerary, or taxi fares, your Tour Leader can advise of an appropriate percentage add on.
Important Information
The sea is not swimmable in Skiathos town as it is a port, but the local bus is easily accessible right next to the hotel and goes to several beaches. Siferi Beach is 5 minutes by bus and Megali Ammos is 10 minutes by bus. The cost for the bus is a maximum of €3* depending on where you would like to get off.

Passport & Visa
A full 10-year passport is required, valid for 6 months beyond the intended length of stay. A visa is not required by holders of passports endorsed “British Citizen” for stays of upto 90 days in any 180-day period. 
 
It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the correct visa, a valid passport and any other travel documents for your holiday.
