Day Three: Pyramids of Giza & Grand Egyptian Museum
Today, we embark on a journey through time to the grandeur and mystery of Ancient Egypt. At its heart, we discover the iconic Pyramids of Giza, located just outside modern-day Cairo. These colossal monuments, built as tombs for the pharaohs, have stood the test of time for over 4,500 years and are the only surviving monument of the original Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Protected by the Great Sphinx, with the body of a lion and the head of a Pharoah, this timeless guardian symbolizes the strength, power, wisdom and intelligence of Ancient Egypt.
- Breakfast included

Day Four: Cairo at leisure or optional excursion
Today we have a free day to enjoy Cairo.
*Optional excursion available to the Grand Mosque of Cairo (Mohamed Ali), Citadel of Salah El-Din, Old Coptic Cairo, and the Grand Bazaar of Khan El-Khalili (payable locally).

After breakfast, we set off on our journey to the coastal city of Alexandria. Upon arrival, we'll check-in to our hotel with an afternoon at leisure.
- Breakfast & dinner included

Day Six: Kom El Shoqafa & Roman Theatre visit
Today we step into the mysterious underground world of the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, one of Alexandria's most fascinating ancient sites. Dating back to the 2nd century AD, these multi-level tombs blend Egyptian, Greek, and Roman art and architecture in a unique display of cultural fusion. Another striking symbol of the city's Greco-Roman heritage is Pompey's Pillar. Despite its name, it honours Emperor Diocletian and once marked the site of the grand Serapeum Temple. Though largely in ruins today, the site still evokes awe, with scattered columns and sphinxes.
- Breakfast included

Day Seven: Citadel of Qaitbay
We begin our day with a visit to the majestic Citadel of Qaitbay, a 15th-century fortress built on the very site of the legendary Lighthouse of Alexandria—one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Soaking in panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the rich Islamic architecture, we continue to the stunning, revived Library of Alexandria, a modern tribute to the ancient centre of knowledge. After the tour, we return to our hotel for a relaxing evening.
- Breakfast & dinner included

Day Eight: Departure Day
