Day Four: Fragrance and Chocolate Museums
This morning, there’s some free time to relax or explore a little more. Why not take a wander around Heinzel’s Winter Fairytale at Heumarkt, where the festive market serves up a tempting mix of seasonal specialities, handcrafted treats and unique gifts. Stroll the themed lanes and little squares, soak up the atmosphere with live music, jugglers and street artists, or hit the ice on Germany’s finest open-air ice rink.*
This afternoon, we head to the Fragrance Museum at Farina House for a guided tour, discovering over 300 years of scent-making history at the birthplace of the original Eau de Cologne. This multi-sensory visit through the historic Farina House features fragrance stations filled with natural essences to sample, along with historic flacons, portraits and beautifully preserved interiors to admire.
We then make our way to the Chocolate Museum for a guided tour, where a host of sweet experiences awaits.
