Doña Julia Golf Club
This par-71 course, designed by Antonio Garrido, a former European Tour professional and highly respected golf architect, is built to USGA standards and features modern greens and tees, plus advanced drainage and irrigation systems. Measuring 6,021m from the championship tees, its standout feature is its huge greens, several of which exceed 1,000 square metres. The front nine provides the sterner test, with narrow, tree-lined fairways and strategically placed water hazards, while the back nine is more forgiving and rewards players with spectacular coastal views. Doña Julia Golf has firmly established itself as one of the Costa del Sol’s premier courses, offering a beautiful and memorable setting for an enjoyable round.

From the 12th October 2025 the EU is introducing a new European Entry System (EES) that will be phased in and fully operational by the 10th April 2026. Non-EU nationals including British passport holders will now be required to complete biometric checks on arrival and exit to Schengen countries, which will include facial recognition and fingerprints. There is no cost for this, and no action needs to be taken prior to departure.
To enter Spain your passport must meet 2 requirements. It must be:- less than 10 years old on the day you enter (check the ‘date of issue’)
- valid for at least 3 months after the day you plan to leave (check the ‘expiry date’)
