Day Three: Mosta, Rabat and Mdina
Our tour today starts with a visit to Mosta Basilica, a miraculous survivor of a direct bomb hit during World War II. The Sanctuary Basilica of the Assumption of Our Lady, commonly known as the Rotunda of Mosta or the Mosta Dome dedicated to the Assumption of Our Lady in Heaven. We will journey on to Mdina and Rabat where we will visit St Pauls Cathedral from outside in Mdina. We then take a walking tour inside Mdina - one of Europe's finest examples of an ancient walled city and extraordinary in its mix of medieval and baroque architecture. The rest of our afternoon is at leisure before meeting for dinner in the evening.

Day Four: Day at leisure
Today is at our leisure where we can make the most of the facilities at our hotel including the indoor pool and spa or perhaps sitting on the terrace with a cup of coffee watching the world go by! If you fancy getting out and about then the resort of Sliema with its shops, bars and restaurants is on our doorstep.

Day Five: Full Day Gozo Tour
Today is an earlier start as we are travelling over to Gozo. There's no better way to discover the sights of Gozo than on this full day tour. We'll explore all four corners of the island, taking in attractions such as the Qala Point, Xlendi Bay, the Inland Sea and the Victoria Citadel among others. You'll get the chance to see some of the island's famous landmarks. The Neolithic Ggantija Temples and the medieval magic of the capital, Victoria. We'll also visit the salt pans and limestone quarries as well as a craft centre and the famous Inland Sea Lagoon.
- Breakfast, lunch & dinner included

Day Six: Three Cities & Marsaxlokk Village
After breakfast we set out on our first excursion beginning with a drive to the famous ‘Cottonera’ region of Malta, known as the ‘3 cities’. We stop at ‘Vittoriosa’, one of the oldest localities on the Maltese islands. After a short walk along the promenade we will enjoy a guided walk through this historical city, past its main square and to the church of ‘St. Lawrence’. From the main square we will also enjoy a guided visit to the famous palace of the ‘Inquisitor’. This ancient building from the period of the Knights was the dreaded holding place for those plotting against the state.

Trip Reviews
7 Nights in Sliema, Malta
This was my first experience of a group holiday and of Solos Holidays. Scott was great with the organising and communicating between our group, the hotel and excursion reps. You can do as much or as little as you like and I was happy to spend time with the group. It was easy to start chatting to others in the group, most of whom had already been on at least one Solos holiday before. There does seem to be a nice sense of community with other solo travellers and I feel confident it won't be too long before I book another holiday with Solos
Preluna Hotel, Malta
Excellent food and plenty of choice at breakfast and dinner. Drinks with dinner were very reasonably priced. Good seafront location, comfortable and very clean room with excellent sea view. Staff were lovely.Tour Manager Scott did a great job getting everyone together and keeping us updated via WhatsApp.We had a really nice & friendly group. Excellent and prompt airport transfers. I’ve used Solos before, though not in recent years; I would certainly do so again.
Great time with lovely people
Have just returned from a week in Sliema, Malta. Had a great time with a lovely group of people - lots to do and so lucky with the weather which was glorious. Scott Jardine the tour leader was brilliant and took great care of us all.
Highly structured approach
Highly structured approach, which was great as I had not been to Malta before. I am sure that if I can gone on my own I would have succeeded in seeing far less of the island. I felt Annie put a lot of work into planning and reviewing the day's schedule and she made herself readily available through each day. Depending on my domestic situation next year I would certainly consider using Solos again, and Annie did her bit in making sure the group gelled.
