Day One: Depart the UK

Welcome to beautiful Cambodia. Upon arrival at Phnom Penh Techo International Airport, we’ll proceed through immigration, collect our luggage and transfer to our hotel, the luxurious Sofitel Phnom Penh. After check-in, enjoy a refreshing welcome cocktail with a light snack, followed by free time at leisure to relax and settle in. In the evening, we will be picked up for a special welcome dinner at the renowned Malis Phnom Penh restaurant, where we will indulge in their exclusive Royal Menu (one soft drink, local beer, or a glass of house wine included). After dinner, we will be transferred back to our hotel.

Day Three: Phnom Penh City Tour
Today we discover the rich heritage of Phnom Penh, often referred to as the ‘Pearl of Asia,’ with a journey through its finest historical and colonial landmarks. We start at the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda complex, where intricate Khmer architecture and over 5,000 gleaming silver floor tiles reflect Cambodia’s regal past. We then walk to the nearby National Museum, a beautiful sandstone museum that showcases the world’s largest collection of Khmer art. We finish the tour on a lighter note at Phsar Thmey, Phnom Penh’s central market and an Art Deco landmark.

Day Four: Morning golf at Vattanac Golf Resort & afternoon gin experience
Today, our first round of golf takes place at the East Course at Vattanac Golf Resort, a world-class championship layout designed by Sir Nick Faldo, offering an unforgettable golfing experience just outside Phnom Penh. Opened in 2019, this par-72 course blends strategic design with striking visual beauty, delivering both challenge and playability for golfers of all skill levels. Stretching over 7,400 yards from the championship tees, the course features dramatic water hazards, bold bunkering and thoughtfully contoured greens that demand precision and smart course management.
Native landscaping frames each hole, creating a distinctive sense of place while enhancing the natural beauty of the surroundings. What truly sets the East Course apart is its celebration of Cambodia’s rich cultural heritage. Magnificent scale replicas of iconic Khmer landmarks provide a breathtaking backdrop, making every round both visually inspiring and uniquely memorable. Combining championship design, premium facilities and a setting unlike any other in the region, the East Course stands as one of Southeast Asia’s premier golfing destinations.
After our round, we will be taken back to our hotel for time to relax until the late afternoon. We then travel by private transport to discover the craftsmanship behind Cambodia’s finest gin with a behind-the-scenes tour of Seekers Spirit House, Phnom Penh’s premier gin distillery. We begin with an insightful tour of the distillery, learning about the distillation process and the locally sourced botanicals that define Seekers’ award-winning spirits. We gain an understanding of the passion and expertise behind each bottle before heading to the tasting room, where we sample Seekers’ signature gins and liqueurs, experiencing the unique flavours inspired by the Mekong region. This immersive experience is perfect for spirit enthusiasts looking to explore Cambodia’s growing craft distillery scene, before we return to our hotel.

Day Five: Day at leisure in Phnom Penh
After breakfast at the hotel, the day is free for us to explore Phnom Penh at our own pace. We may choose to relax at the hotel or discover the city’s attractions, cafés and local markets.

Day Six: Morning golf at Vattanac West Course & afternoon at leisure
Today we head to the West Course at Vattanac Golf Resort, which delivers a bold and memorable championship golf experience, designed by Sir Nick Faldo to challenge, inspire and reward strategic play. Opened in 2020, this par-72 layout offers a striking contrast to the resort’s East Course while maintaining the same world-class standards of design and conditioning. Stretching over 7,200 yards from the back tees, the course features undulating fairways, expansive water features and superbly maintained Paspalum greens that demand accuracy and intelligent shot selection.
Multiple teeing options ensure an enjoyable round for golfers of all abilities. A defining feature of the West Course is the dramatic Dragon Lake, which influences play across several holes and creates a spectacular visual centrepiece. Cultural elements woven throughout the landscape celebrate Cambodia’s rich heritage, adding character and a distinctive sense of place to every round. Combining championship design, scenic beauty and exceptional service, the West Course stands as one of Cambodia’s premier golfing destinations and an essential experience for golfers visiting Phnom Penh. After our round we will be taken back to our hotel where we have the rest of the day at leisure.

Day Seven: Depart Phnom Penh to Siem Reap & Gondola Sunset Cruise
After breakfast at the hotel, we can enjoy some free time at leisure until our scheduled transfer to Phnom Penh Techo International Airport for our afternoon flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival in Siem Reap, we will be greeted by our local guide and transferred to the city, before continuing for a relaxing one-hour sunset cruise along the moat of Angkor Thom. Glide quietly along in a gondola to the small temple of Prasat Chrung in the southwest corner of Angkor Thom. Enjoy 60 minutes of sunset cocktails and champagne with a free flow of canapés, then kick back and watch the sun set behind the majestic temples of Angkor. Next, we return to our hotel for free time at leisure.

Day Eight: Morning golf at Phokeethra Country Club & afternoon temple tour to Angkor Wat
This morning we play our round of golf at Phokeethra Country Club. This 18-hole, par-72 championship course just outside Siem Reap stretches over 7,100 yards. The layout challenges golfers with strategically placed bunkers, water hazards on nearly every hole and subtly contoured greens that demand accuracy and thoughtful course management. Wide fairways, natural elevation changes and multiple teeing options provide a rewarding experience for players of all skill levels.
Signature holes celebrate Cambodia’s heritage, including the restored 11th-century Roluos Bridge, seamlessly blending culture with play. Designed with high-quality Paspalum turf, the course ensures consistent playing surfaces year-round, offering a world-class, scenic and technically engaging golf experience in the heart of Cambodia.
Following our game, we will be transferred to enjoy lunch at Spoon Restaurant (a social enterprise), with (one soft drink, local beer, or a glass of house wine included). After lunch, we will then set off on our journey to the magnificent Angkor Wat, the world’s largest religious monument and best-preserved temple in the complex. This visually spectacular three-tiered pyramid has become a symbol of Cambodia, appearing on its flag. Admire the grandeur of its architecture and its extensive decoration of bas-relief friezes. Next, we will take a short drive to the surreal South Gate of Angkor Thom, where statues of the gods of good and evil line the entrance, before travelling to Bayon, a richly decorated temple whose most distinctive feature is the hundreds of smiling faces that grace the towers. We will then continue to one of Cambodia’s most beloved temples, Ta Prohm. Unusually, Ta Prohm is in much the same condition in which it was found. The combination of large trees growing out of the ruins and the surrounding jungle gives the temple a truly magical feel. We then return to our hotel, where we can enjoy some free time at leisure.

Day Nine: Kok Sangke Community Tour, Tonlé Sap & Apsara Dinner Show
Today we immerse ourselves in the daily life of a Cambodian rural community before exploring the stilted villages of Tonlé Sap. We begin our journey at Kok Sangke Community, where we will visit local families and farms to gain insight into their traditions and livelihoods. Learn how bamboo sticky rice is made, observe blacksmiths crafting metal tools and visit a family producing traditional rice wine. As we walk through the village, we’ll meet families raising livestock and growing vegetables, and discover the art of craft weaving and palm sugar production (when in season).
Enjoy a home-cooked lunch at a community venue (one soft drink, local beer, juice, or a glass of house wine included) before visiting a local pagoda, where the Chai Yam Music Band will welcome us with traditional music. Conclude with a special monk blessing before heading to Kampong Khleang, a floating village on Tonlé Sap Lake. Depending on the season, witness houses towering on stilts or floating on the water, reflecting the ever-changing landscape of the lake. We then return to our hotel before the evening entertainment.
This evening, we will enjoy an evening filled with traditional Apsara dance. The show brings ancient Khmer culture to life while we enjoy a dinner of traditional Cambodian cuisine (one soft drink, local beer, juice, or a glass of house wine included). We then return to our hotel.

Day Ten: Morning golf at Phokeethra Country Club, afternoon at leisure & evening circus
After breakfast, we play our round of golf at Phokeethra Country Club. This 18-hole, par-72 championship course just outside Siem Reap stretches over 7,100 yards. After our lunch, we enjoy the afternoon with a rejuvenating 180-minute spa experience at SokkhaK Spa, before dinner at Chanrey Tree Restaurant (one soft drink, local beer, juice, or a glass of wine included).
This evening, we will delight in the spectacular Phare Cambodian Circus with Seat A tickets and discover Cambodia’s rich artistic heritage at the renowned Phare Cambodian Circus. Watch an extraordinary performance that blends acrobatics, aerial ballet, mime, tightrope walking and storytelling. This contemporary circus is run by an NGO that supports disadvantaged Khmer youth through arts education and performance training. While the show is modern, it remains deeply rooted in Cambodian traditions, folk stories and music, making for a truly unique and immersive experience. After the show, we will be transferred back to our hotel.

Day Eleven: Morning golf at Angkor Golf Resort & farewell dinner at Khmer Heritage Village
For our last day of golf, we will be playing the excellent Angkor Golf Resort. Widely considered to be the best in the Siem Reap region, Angkor is an 18-hole, par-72 championship course crafted by Sir Nick Faldo to provide a challenging yet enjoyable round for golfers of all levels. Stretching over 7,200 yards, the course features wide, undulating fairways framed by tropical vegetation, strategically placed bunkers and water hazards that come into play on nearly every hole.
Subtle elevation changes, multiple tee boxes and contoured greens demand precision and thoughtful strategy, rewarding accurate drives and well-planned approaches. Signature holes incorporate water carries, island greens and scenic vistas of Cambodia’s lush landscapes, making each hole both visually striking and technically engaging. Angkor Golf Resort delivers a true test of skill in one of Southeast Asia’s most iconic golfing destinations.
Following our morning of golf, we will be taken back to the city centre to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant (one soft drink, local beer, juice, or a glass of house wine included). Later in the afternoon, we will be transferred to enjoy an hour of sunset cocktails and a farewell dinner at Khmer Heritage Village, a charming cultural site that showcases a collection of traditional Khmer wooden houses, each reflecting the unique architectural styles and lifestyles of Cambodia’s past. Upon arrival, enjoy a unique experience as you witness the traditional process of making Khmer rice wine (Sra Sor) and sample its distinctive flavour. As the day comes to an end, take in the beautiful sunset over the tranquil countryside. Later, we will celebrate the end of our 10-day golf and cultural experience with a memorable dinner before returning to our hotel. Please note: dinner at Khmer Heritage Village is held in an organised shared venue.

Day Twelve: Depart Cambodia from Siem Reap International Airport

Essential Information
Tourist visas are available on arrival at Phnom Penh or Siem Reap international airports. If you wish to get a visa on arrival you must arrive with a passport photograph. You can also get an eVisa online click here before you travel. Visa fees, conditions and photograph requirements are subject to change. Check the Royal Cambodian Embassy, or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs & International Co-operation website for the latest information on fees, conditions and photograph requirements and on how to apply for an e-visa.
Currently an e-visa costs 30 USD + 6 USD processing fee). You must be in possession of a 10 year passport and should be valid for a minimum period of 6 months from the date of entry into Cambodia. Entry is normally refused if you have a damaged passport or pages missing. Your passport should also be valid for a minimum period of 6 months for any subsequent renewal or extension of your visa that you apply for from within Cambodia.
Electronic arrival card
On 1 September 2024, Cambodia implemented an electronic Arrival Card. If you are entering Cambodia by air at either Phnom Penh, Siem Reap or Sihanoukville international airports, you must complete and submit an electronic e-Arrival Card click here within 7 days prior to your arrival. There is no charge for this.
If you are not a British citizen and do not hold a British passport, you must make your own enquiries as to the applicable requirements.

It is recommended to reserve golf clubs at the time of booking
We advise you to use a light golf bag when packing your clubs. We suggest you wrap a towel round the neck of the clubs to protect them and stop them rattling around whilst in transit. It is also important to then place the bag and clubs in an outer carrying bag, which can be purchased from any good golf shop. Please contact us for current golf club carriage charges with the airline.
Baggage allowance for the flight from Phom Penh to Siem Reap is 23kg with 7kg for on-board hand luggage. Charges for extra Golf club carriage is as below and is recommended to arrange at time of booking to avoid delays at the airport check-in

The emphasis is on casual clothing throughout. Go for light, loose cotton clothing and comfortable shoes or walking boots when touring. Conservative dress is preferred for both men and women. No shorts or vest tops in restaurants. When visiting temples and certain museums dress politely; shorts, singlets, spaghetti straps, skirts, tank-tops and open backed sandals are not acceptable. The dress code would be same for men and women, that is shoulders and legs covered, no hats, and shoes to be taken off.
