Thoughtfully laid out with well-placed bunkers, each hole brings its own test—making for an enjoyable and rewarding round in a truly memorable setting. The two short holes on the front nine offer a gentle start, but the 154-yard 16th provides a real test—requiring a precise tee shot over a small lake all the way to the green, challenging even the most confident golfers.

Gran Canaria’s enduring appeal begins with its beaches, and our hotel enjoys a prime position overlooking the dark sands of San Agustín. This relaxed, laid-back resort is the perfect place to unwind after a round of golf—perhaps with a drink in hand as the sun sets. For a change of scene, Playa del Inglés is within easy reach, offering 3km of golden sand, a wide range of water sports and a lively 2km promenade lined with bars, restaurants and shops, with nightlife that continues into the early hours. Alternatively, for a more refined evening, head to the stylish Meloneras area for chic bars and cafés, or into Las Palmas for a touch of city life and the option of the Casino. Wherever you choose, there are endless spots across the island to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy a sunset with a local drink.

Golf Club Insurance
Clients will most probably find that their golf clubs are covered on their household insurance policy. Most policies cover a single item such as golf clubs for a period out of the country. However, clients should make very sure that they do have adequate cover.
Buggy, Trolley & Club Hire
Most golf clubs have these items available for hire, however this is not always the case, so clients would be advised to check with us beforehand if they have any specific requirements.
  • Golf buggy - €50 per round / Anfi Tauro €50 - obligatory to use a buggy on this course
  • Trolley - €7 per round (€12 Salobre Golf) / Anfi Tauro not available - obligatory to use a buggy on this course
  • E-Trolley - €12 per round (Maspalomas Golf Only)
  • Golf Club Hire - €50 per round Taylor Made  / €50 Salobre Golf Callaway
Extra Green Fees per round
  • Salobre Golf €130
  • Maspalomas Golf, Meloneras Golf & Anfi Tauro Golf €116
The above prices are approximate and are subject to change by the golf courses. All are payable locally in resort and not available to pre-book
Carriage of Clubs
We advise you to use a light golf bag when packing your clubs. We suggest you wrap a towel round the neck of the clubs to protect them and stop them rattling around whilst in transit. It is also important to then place the bag and clubs in an outer carrying bag, which can be purchased from any good golf shop. There is an extra charge for golf club carriage prices vary by airline. Please call for up to date prices
What to Wear
Golf attire during the day. We suggest smart casual for the evenings. The hotel requires gentlemen to wear long trousers at dinner. No shorts are permitted. Golf shoes with soft spikes are required.
Gratuities
We suggest a Group Collection to cover transfer drivers, and hotel staff of €25.00 per person. Your Tour Leader will collect this on your behalf and distribute it accordingly, thus relieving you of the burden of who, when and how much to tip. The tipping of housekeeping will be left to your individual discretion (a small amount left in your room on departure should cover this and would be much appreciated). As is customary, ‘the hat’ will be passed around for the driver and guide on all optional excursions. For any meals that are not included in your itinerary, or taxi fares, your Tour Leader can advise of an appropriate % add on.
Passports and visas

From the 12th October 2025 the EU is introducing a new European Entry System (EES) that will be phased in and fully operational by the 10th April 2026. Non-EU nationals including British passport holders will now be required to complete biometric checks on arrival and exit to Schengen countries, which will include facial recognition and fingerprints. There is no cost for this, and no action needs to be taken prior to departure.

To enter the Canary Islands your passport must meet 2 requirements. It must be:
  • less than 10 years old on the day you enter (check the ‘date of issue’)
  • valid for at least 3 months after the day you plan to leave (check the ‘expiry date’)
Check both the issue date and the expiry date in your passport. If you renewed your passport early, extra months may have been added to its expiry date. This could affect the requirement for your passport to be less than 10 years old.

A visa is not required by holders of passports endorsed “British Citizen” for stays of upto 90 days in any 180-day period. Please note that stays in other EU countries counts towards this 90 day period. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the correct visa, a valid passport and any other travel documents for your holiday.

All information provided relates to British citizens who hold or are entitled to apply for a British passport. For the most up-to-date visa information please visit; Spain Foreign Advice

If you are not a British citizen and do not hold a British passport, you must make your own enquiries as to the applicable requirements.

Health requirements
Compulsory vaccinations: None.

All clients are responsible for acquainting themselves with up to date health information of the countries being visited and where necessary take the required precautions. We recommend that you check with your doctor prior to departure as this information can change. You can also visit the travel health website for more information; Travel Health Spain
