At three kilometres, it's one of longest on the island of Phuket. With our half board basis, we can enjoy traditional Thai, local, Indian and international favourites at the hotel’s restaurant. There is also the Mint Bar which offers beautiful sunset views of the beach and with our resort situated on the island’s west coast, the sunsets are simply breathtaking.
Our Resort - Karon Beach

Our Resort - Karon Beach

Lower key than neighbouring Patong, but still lively enough for fun nights with new-found friends, the resort of Karon Beach is home to a great selection of restaurants, bars and souvenir shops. A great spot for us to visit is the twice-weekly night market at Karon Temple where authentic Thai street foods, fresh exotic fruits and souvenirs are all on offer. The temple itself makes for some impressive photos. Heading south, we can take an easy hike up to Karon Viewpoint to enjoy panoramic views of the Andaman Sea and the white sandy bays and turquoise waters that this region is famous for. Another must-see spot is the ‘Big Buddha’, sitting majestically atop a hill to the south of Karon, this 45-metre-tall statue is a sight to behold!

There is so much to do in this part of Thailand. From culture to nature, we can fill our days with wonderful sights and experiences (if we can tear ourselves away from that stunning beach). With 29 Buddhist temples in Phuket, the most impressive of them all is Wat Chalong. Phuket Elephant Sanctuary offers animal lovers an ethical experience to meet these iconic Thai natives. For those wanting to spend time on the water, speedboat trips to the Phi Phi Islands and James Bond Island are an exhilarating way to explore this tropical paradise. History lovers can enjoy a stroll around Old Phuket Town with its shrines, museums and Sino-Portuguese architecture.

Half Day Phuket Explorer Currently THB 3,230.00
Discover the landmark sights and cultural icons of Phuket, admire the spectacular viewpoints at Rang Hills, explore Phuket's famous Wat Chalong and Chinese temple and view a 100-year-old Chinese mansion made famous in movies. From peaceful farmhouses to grand pagodas, this tour shows you some of the most memorable and recognisable sights on the island.

Half Day Walking Tour: Sino-Portuguese Influences  Currently THB 3,980.00
Phuket is famous for its beaches but in our eyes, the real highlight of the island is the surprisingly charming Phuket Town, which long ago attracted immigrants from neighbouring Asian countries who brought with them their distinctive architecture, cuisine and culture.  From the beautifully restored Sino-Portuguese shophouses on Talang Road to Buddhist temples and Chinese shrines, discover the very best of Phuket’s atmospheric old town on this morning tour. Discover the Sino-Portuguese influence on Phuket Town, delve into the Thai Hua Museum which details the history of Phuket, relax with a coffee in one of the beautifully restored shophouses and marvel at detailed amulets and learn the significance of them.

Full Day James Bond Island by Private Longtail Boat Currently THB2,220.00
The James Bond Island tour and sightseeing the Phang Nga Bay is one of the most popular activities in the region. The area is situated 25 km north-east of Phuket. It consists of numerous dramatic limestone cliffs rising sheer out of the waters; the most famous one being James Bond Island with its needle-formed limestone rock which featured in the James Bond movie “The Man with the Golden Gun”. The Muslim fishing village on the island of Koh Panyee is another popular spot to visit. Canoeing through limestone caves into mangrove forests is included in the tour. Follow in the footsteps of Roger Moore, walk to the floating village almost entirely built on stilts in Phang Nga Bay and enjoy a delicious lunch in a floating village.
Dress Code
The emphasis is on casual clothing for throughout. Go for light, loose cotton clothing and comfortable shoes or walking boots. Conservative dress is preferred for both men and women. No shorts or vest tops in restaurants. When visiting temples and certain museums dress politely; shorts, singlets, spaghetti straps, skirts, tank-tops and open backed sandals are not acceptable. The dress code would be same for men and women, that is shoulders and legs covered, no hats, and shoes to be taken off.
Gratuities
We suggest a Group Collection to cover guides, transfer drivers, and hotel staff of £30.00 per person. Your Tour Leader will collect this on your behalf and distribute it accordingly, thus relieving you of the burden of who, when and how much to tip. The tipping of housekeeping will be left to your individual discretion (a small amount left in your room on departure should cover this and would be much appreciated). As is customary, ‘the hat’ will be passed around for the driver and guide on all optional excursions. For any meals that are not included in your itinerary, or taxi fares, your Tour Leader can advise of an appropriate % to add on.
