Trip Reviews

Whole experience

The whole experience other than the journey home due to the change of airline company and flight times.

Lovely mix of people

Loved the clean hotel, pool, beach side location and room being cleaned every day. Lovely mix of people to socialise with. Really fantastic boat trip round the south of the island. Annie our tour leader worked really hard to make our holiday enjoyable, she was amazing every day. I can't thank her enough for putting so much effort.

Glad I took plunge

This was my first solo holiday . So glad I took the plunge. Hotel was lovely including location, food, room, facilities and entertainment. Tour leader Annie was great. She made sure everyone was happy and always gave options for daily activities. As a small group we all developed a bond. We had time together as a group but also plenty of time and space to do our own thing.

Great beach

The great beach and Monica did a fantastic job. Hotel staff very good especially the bar staff and room maids.

Dress code
Casual, cotton, lightweight daytime wear is the order of the day. Comfortable shoes are a must for sightseeing. Smart casual clothes will be ideal for the evening, with the emphasis throughout being informal but with no shorts or vests in the restaurants in the evenings. Early and late season evenings can be cool so do ensure that you take a cardigan or jacket.
Gratuities
We suggest a Group Collection to cover transfer drivers, and hotel staff of €20.00 per person. Your Tour Leader will collect this on your behalf and distribute it accordingly, thus relieving you of the burden of who, when and how much to tip. The tipping of housekeeping will be left to your individual discretion (a small amount left in your room on departure should cover this and would be much appreciated). As is customary, ‘the hat’ will be passed around for the driver and guide on all optional excursions. For any meals that are not included in your itinerary, or taxi fares, your Tour Leader can advise of an appropriate percentage add on.
Passports & Visas

A full 10-year passport is required valid for at least the duration of your stay. Holders of passports with the inscription “British Citizen” or “European Union” do not require a visa.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the correct visa, a valid passport and any other travel documents for your holiday.

All information provided relates to British citizens who hold or are entitled to apply for a British passport. For the most up-to-date visa information please visit; Italy Foreign Advice

From the 12th October 2025 the EU is introducing a new European Entry System (EES) that will be phased in and fully operational by the 10th April 2026. Non-EU nationals including British passport holders will now be required to complete biometric checks on arrival and exit to Schengen countries, which will include facial recognition and fingerprints. There is no cost for this, and no action needs to be taken prior to departure.

If you are not a British citizen and do not hold a British passport, you must make your own enquiries as to the applicable requirements.
