You’ll find St Lucia at the top of many people’s bucket lists. And we’ve found the perfect little spot to enjoy the breathtaking beauty of this sensational island – with the hotel exclusively taken over for our Solos. Overlooking the stunning Rodney Bay Marina, guests at 'Harmony Suites' will be just minutes away from the sweeping sands of Reduit Beach. This is truly an authentic Caribbean experience, staying in a family-owned colonial style property. Surrounded by palm trees and the ocean, we spend our days relaxing by the private pool and enjoy evening meals together as a group, embracing the freedom to spend as much or as little time as we please with our fellow Solos guests.

Rodney Bay is a town and bay located in the Gros Islet District on the northwestern coast of St Lucia. Reduit Beach, situated within Rodney Bay, is one of the most popular beaches on the island,  loved by all for its cleanliness, space, white sands, and clear water. For those who care to venture from their sun lounger, visit the Splash Island Water Park with obstacle courses on the water. The bay also includes a Marina, now the second largest yachting centre in the Caribbean sea. The marina hosts a wide choice of shops and restaurants. At night, the resort comes alive with a variety bars to choose from.

Rodney Bay is also a great location to access other local areas such as Pigeon Island National Park - home to nature trails and beautiful sandy beaches and also Gros Islet - where the island's biggest street party is held every Friday.

This stunning island has so much to offer. We have a number of optional excursions for you to choose from to experience and make the most of this beautiful Caribbean island. Adventure seekers can visit the rainforests of St Lucia and try zip lining amongst the trees. Or if you'd rather see the canopy in a slower more sedate style, hop on the tree top tram. If it's a full island experience you're looking for, why not enjoy a day tour which takes in the highlights of this diverse island. From traditional fishing villages, to panoramic views, the majestic Pitons and even the sulphur springs at the 'Drive-In' volcano, there is so much to see.

No visit to a Caribbean island would be complete without a catamaran cruise - where you’ll enjoy a full day’s cruise along the west coast. This includes visits to the sulphur springs, botanical gardens and waterfalls, the Pitons and Marigot Bay. Complemented with a swim stop in the clear waters and tasty lunch.

Good accommodation

Accommodation was good, I appreciated the upgrade to a larger suite. Local food was also great and reasonably priced.

Small and exclusive

The hotel and siting in Rodney Bay, made all the better by being small and exclusive to Solos and specifically my room, to which I was upgraded to by Solos, with it’s waterside position and size was the envy of all other guests. I thank Solos greatly for the upgrade. Jane was an excellent tour leader.

Room with a view

The people at the hotel and the people I met on the holiday.having the balcony was nice as I used to sit and have my morning coffee on it looking out at the view which was good. The maids that cleaned our rooms were very good and kept the room very clean and tidy.

Overlooking Rodney Bay Marina, this heritage-style property boasts a central location in the resort, close to all the local amenities and a short walk to one of the best beaches on the island.

Set on the waterfront, the Harmony Suites offer 28 rooms with three room types to choose from, an outdoor pool, gardens overlooking the marina with sun loungers, pub, restaurant, and WiFi is available throughout the property. Please note this property does not have a lift.

Transfer Time
Transfer time from St Lucia Airport to The Harmony Suites is approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic.
Optional Excursions
You may wish to take an optional excursion during the course of your stay. Full details will be given at the Information Meeting. All tours should be paid for in USD. Credit cards are accepted. The exact amount will be given at your Information Meeting. Your Tour Leader will help arrange these for you but may not necessarily accompany you. If you wish to request the excursion before you travel, please contact our Sales team to add the requests to your bookings.

Participate in the preparation of the dishes or relax and watch. Enjoy the tasty meal. Visit the onsite museum or stroll through the garden.
Dress Code
Casual, cotton, lightweight daytime wear is the order of the day. Comfortable shoes are a must for sightseeing. Smart casual clothes will be ideal for the evening, with the emphasis throughout being informal but with no vests in the restaurants in the evenings. Evenings are a little cooler so do ensure that you take a cardigan just incase!
Gratuities
There is often confusion on the question of gratuities, since it frequently depends on the type of holiday, location and, of course, your attitude towards tipping, as to what is normally expected. In order to give you a rough idea, we have given appropriate guidance below. Your Tour Leader will be on hand to offer advice or suggestions if required but gratuities are offered entirely at the sole discretion of the individual. We suggest a group collection to cover drivers, porters and hotel staff of $35.00 per week, (or the equivalent amount in local currency). 
 
Your Tour Leader will collect this on your behalf and distribute it accordingly, thus relieving you of the burden of who, when and how much to tip. The tipping of housekeeping will be left to your individual discretion (a small amount left in your room on departure should cover this and would be much appreciated). As is customary, ‘the hat’ will be passed around for the driver and guide on all optional excursions. For any meals that are not included in your itinerary, or taxi fares, your Tour Leader can advise of an appropriate add-on.
Passport & Visas
All passengers must be in possession of a full 10-year passport with at least 6 months validity after the return date. Visas are not required for British citizens. 

It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the correct visa, a valid passport and any other travel documents for your holiday.  All information provided relates to British citizens who hold or are entitled to apply for a British passport.
