Solos Exclusives invites you to discover the beauty of Turkey’s Turquoise Coast on a week-long gulet sailing adventure. Departing from Fethiye, you’ll journey to Marmaris aboard a traditional wooden gulet, complete with a welcoming crew and a group of like-minded travellers. Along the way, you’ll uncover secluded coves, hidden caves, and charming little islands. Highlights of the voyage include Tersane Island, the unspoilt shores of Ekincik, the golden sands of Kumlubuk Bay, the peaceful Semizce Bay, and the idyllic Yassica Island – each offering its own unique charm and tranquil atmosphere.

We arrive at Dalaman Airport and transfer to our gulet in the harbour of Fethiye, where the Aegean and Mediterranean Seas meet. Upon boarding, we'll enjoy a welcome drink, an orientation, and a safety briefing with our Tour Leader and crew, followed by our first dinner together on board.

Fethiye to Aga Limani

After breakfast, we cruise from Fethiye to Göcek’s Tersane Island, also known as Dockyard Island, as it was used by the Ottoman Navy during World War I. You can still see the remains of the old dockyard beneath the crystal-clear waters, making this an excellent spot for snorkelling. In the evening, we anchor at the peaceful bay of Aga Limani and enjoy a leisurely dinner surrounded by serene natural beauty.

Aga Limani to Efincik area

After a restful night under the stars, we set sail early toward the stunning Ekincik area, where we anchor in a tranquil bay. You can spend the day relaxing on board or join an optional excursion to Dalyan and Kaunos. This trip includes a scenic riverboat ride past ancient rock tombs, a visit to the historic city of Kaunos, rejuvenating mud baths, and time to unwind on the beautiful Turtle Beach.

Ekincik to Marmaris

Ekincik to Marmaris

Following a leisurely breakfast on board, we set sail toward some of the most picturesque spots along the coast. Depending on the weather and sea conditions, we will stop at either Turunç Bükü—a charming bay surrounded by lush green hills—or Cennet Island (Paradise Island), renowned for its pristine beauty and tranquil atmosphere.

Enjoy a refreshing swim and relax while lunch is prepared on board. In the afternoon, we continue cruising toward Marmaris, where we dock at the marina by early evening, just in time for a delicious dinner.

Marmaris to Semizce

After breakfast, we leave Marmaris and begin another day of serene cruising along the breathtaking Turquoise Coast. Our first stop is Kumlubük Bay, known for its clear waters and dramatic mountain backdrop—perfect for swimming, sunbathing, or simply unwinding on deck.

In the afternoon, we continue toward Semizce Bay, a secluded, uninhabited anchorage where untouched nature surrounds us. Enjoy a peaceful evening under the stars and dinner on board in this tranquil setting.

Semizce to Bedri Rahmi or Sarsala Bay

We start the day early, sailing toward the breathtaking Göcek Bays, celebrated for their natural beauty and hidden coves. After breakfast at Kuyruk Burnu, we head to Batık Hamam Bay—also known as Cleopatra’s Bath. Here, the partially submerged ruins of ancient Roman baths make for a unique swimming experience that blends history with stunning scenery.

In the evening, we anchor at either Bedri Rahmi Bay, named after the famous Turkish painter and poet, or the peaceful Sarsala Bay. Dinner is served on board, surrounded by the tranquil beauty of nature.

After breakfast, we continue exploring the Fethiye Gulf, sailing past picturesque bays and coves that showcase the region’s unspoiled beauty. We then stop at Yassıca Island, a group of small, idyllic islets known for their turquoise waters and unique formations.

Here, you’ll have time to swim, sunbathe, and soak in the peaceful atmosphere while lunch is served on board. In the afternoon, we begin our return journey toward Fethiye, anchoring at Samanlık Bay for our final night. Enjoy a memorable farewell dinner beneath the stars, bringing your sailing trip to a perfect close.

Beyzade Traditional Wooden Gulet

Beyzade traditional wooden gulet is a 24m long boat with 9 ensuite cabins operated by three crew members.

Gulet facilities include an indoor and outdoor lounge bar/dining area, sun deck and air conditioning (see FAQ's for further information).There is a hair dryer on board for clients use

Essential Information

Transfer Time
The transfer time from Dalaman Airport to Fethiye Harbour is approximately 60 minutes.
Important Information
Please note
 
  • Due to the nature of the boat and cruising experience it is not suitable for people with mobility difficulties.
  • Please note that night stops do not include the opportunity to disembark the boat, evenings will be at anchor in the Bay.
  • The Gulet operates a cash only system for drinks, excursions and tips.It is recommended to have a small amount of Turkish Lira (for local beach bars) . Small amounts of money can be exchanged on the boat at the daily bank exchange rate. The Gulet does recommend Euros or GBP for larger sums of money.
  • WIFI is available onboard and payable locally - currently £15 per week (please note that WIFI signal can be intermittent if in a remote bay).
  • We recommend you take a soft suitcase rather than a large hard shell case as storage in the cabin is limited.
  • We recommend you take a beach towel.
  • The Gulet is ‘sailing’ with the engine daily between 2-4 hours.
  • Please note the itinerary is subject to change based on local conditions.
  • Please note that alcohol can only be consumed if bought from the boat’s bar.
  • On departure day, for late flight departures you are able to leave your luggage at a location advised by the crew in the Port whilst you have time at leisure before your transfer to the airport.

In British British Summer Time Turkey is 2 hours ahead of the UK.
Passports

If you are visiting Turkey, your passport should be valid for at least 150 days from the date you arrive and there should be a full blank page for the entry and exit stamps. You can find more detail about the requirements for entry into Turkey on the website of the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Visa Information
Turkey E-Visa - From 2 March 2020, British nationals travelling for tourism or business purposes will no longer need a visa to enter Turkey for visits of up to 90 days within a 180-day period.

Health requirements
Compulsory vaccinations: None.

All clients are responsible for acquainting themselves with up to date health information of the countries being visited and where necessary take the required precautions. Please note electricity is supplied often by the use of the generator (the generator can be loud at times whilst in full action). This means there is up to 1 hour of air conditioning and 4 hours of power per day.

Full details will be given at the Information Meeting The prices quoted, are a guideline only, as these can vary, depending on numbers etc. The exact amount will be given at your Information Meeting. Your Tour Leader will help arrange these for you but may not necessarily accompany you.

Payment for excursions can be in Turkish Lira or GBP - cash only Please note:- Optional excursions are not guaranteed and are based on minimum numbers. The prices quoted are guideline only and may involve other non-Solos holidaymakers.
Dress Code
Casual, cotton, lightweight daytime wear is the order of the day. Comfortable shoes are a must for sightseeing and we recommend flat shoes while on board.
Currency
Turkish Lira. Please note Euro and GBP are also widely accepted in this region.
Gratuities
We suggest a Group Collection to cover transfer drivers, and boat crew of approx £70 per person. Your Tour Leader will collect this on your behalf and distribute it accordingly, thus relieving you of the burden of who, when and how much to tip. As is customary, ‘the hat’ will be passed around for the driver and guide on all optional excursions. For any meals that are not included in your itinerary, or taxi fares, your Tour Leader can advise of an appropriate percentage add on.
