We check-out of our hotel and leave for the city of Agra – home to the famous Taj Mahal (approx. 4.5 hour journey). When we arrive in the afternoon, we visit the impressive Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most remarkable Mughal forts in India. Originally built in the 11th century, this grand red sandstone fortress has witnessed centuries of history, including the pivotal events of India’s Rebellion of 1857.

We begin our day with an early morning yoga session at Taj Khema, set against the serene backdrop of the Taj Mahal.
Next, we discover the art of marble inlay at a local workshop, where skilled craftsmen continue this centuries-old tradition.
For lunch, we visit the inspiring Sheroes Hangout, a pioneering initiative run by women who have survived acid attacks. This café aims to raise awareness about acid violence and challenge societal stigmas associated with survivors by providing them with employment, community, and empowerment. Their strength and resilience is incredibly moving and humbling.
The rest of the day is ours to relax or explore at our own pace.

Day Five: Agra – Jaipur
We leave for Jaipur (approx. 4 hour journey), stopping en route to visit the Chand Baori stepwell in Abhaneri Village — an architectural marvel from the 8th–9th centuries. This ancient structure features 3,500 precisely aligned narrow steps that descends 65 feet over three levels to the bottom of the well.
Lunch will be provided at a mid-way restaurant before continuing the drive to Jaipur. On arrival, we check-in at the hotel.

Day six: Pink City Rickshaw & Amber Fort
We start the day with a charming rickshaw ride through Jaipur in a Pink City Rickshaw — a vibrant initiative by ACCESS Development Services that empowers local women from low-income households by providing them with meaningful employment as trained rickshaw drivers.
With the canopy down and the cool morning breeze in our hair, our designated rider will meet us at the hotel and take us on a peaceful journey through the quiet streets of Jaipur - to enjoy a rare moment of calm in this lively city.
We begin with a visit to the Govind Devji Temple inside the City Palace, where the early morning aarti (prayer ceremony) creates a powerful spiritual atmosphere. We join locals in chanting as you witness this moving ritual at the 18th-century temple dedicated to Lord Krishna, once the personal deity of Jaipur’s royal family.
Next, explore the bustling wholesale flower market near Hawa Mahal, where turbaned vendors trade sacks filled with fragrant roses and marigolds — a feast for the senses. We pause for photos at the Palace of Winds and a cup of cardamom chai in a traditional clay cup, before passing the grand Albert Hall Museum on our return.
We return to our hotel for breakfast and some well-deserved relaxation for the rest of the morning.
From the outside, the fort’s weathered stone walls exude strength and beauty - but it’s the interior that truly dazzles. Step into a world of royal grandeur, where intricate miniature paintings bring to life scenes of royal hunts, battles, and grand celebrations. Marvel at the artistry of the Sheesh Mahal (Hall of Mirrors) inside Jag Mandir - a breathtaking chamber where thousands of tiny mirror fragments, once imported from Belgium, shimmer with every flicker of light.
After the visit, we return to our hotel.
- Breakfast & dinner included

Day Seven: Crafts of Sanganer & Indian Cooking Class

In the evening we'll experience the warmth of local hospitality as we're welcomed into a Jaipur home for an intimate Rajasthani cooking class. Begin with a tour of the host’s residence, accompanied by a refreshing welcome drink, before stepping into the kitchen.
We learn about the essential spices and flavors of the region as your hands-on cooking session begins. Guided by a local chef, we’ll take part in preparing a traditional meal, gaining insight into both the recipes and the culture behind them. The evening ends with a shared dinner and conversation with our host's family - a chance to connect, exchange stories, and enjoy the dishes we’ve helped prepare.
