Our wide selection of holidays means that we work with lots of wonderful Tour Leaders. We’d like to introduce you to one of our ClubSolos Tour Leaders, Monica. Here she talks about leading our wonderful ClubSolos holidays and what she hopes summer 2021 will have in store.
Meet our ClubSolos Tour Leader Monica
I have always been involved in travel as my parents had their own travel agency and organised trips all over the world. Consequently, I dreamt of sun, sea and socialising, which makes being a Tour Leader the best job in the world. It combines my two loves – people and travel.
Solos gives you the opportunity to meet fantastic people, have a fabulous time and make lifelong friends. A lot of my guests are friends now and they regularly keep in touch with me and other guests. It was so nice to receive messages during lockdown, it really made things much easier. There is nothing better than being away with nice people, chatting and laughing by the pool, going on trips and eating fabulous food! ClubSolos is the perfect place. Everyone looks out for each other and comes back again and again, so I love making sure the guests have the best holiday experience. A highlight of mine from a ClubSolos was when a couple met on my first trip abroad with Solos and although they lived 200 miles apart, they have now moved in together and are engaged! I love it when guests keep in touch with me, I always feel that they arrive as guests and leave as friends.
I have just taken my 87-year-old mother to Sardinia. We are having a fab time by the beach in the sunshine. Anyone who is feeling a little sceptical, I would say go for it and book your holiday. Life is too short! My mum has been to on 2 different ClubSolos holidays and absolutely loves them – it’s a place for everyone at every age.
I have hosted ClubSolos, sun holidays, walking trips, skiing holidays, balls and dinner dances – I love them all! At ClubSolos we have the place to ourselves. My favourite destinations are the Greek Islands. I am so excited, and I can’t wait to go back there. Their friendliness and hospitality are outstanding. I believe our Greek partners are working very hard to make sure all measures are in place so we can have a safe and enjoyable holiday in 2021. I honestly feel that they are like family. Life is completely different when you are on holiday. When you have your own space on the beach you feel safe and happy – it’s much better than being stuck at home!
I really missed ClubSolos this year and I am now even more excited to get back in 2021! I hope to see you all there!
