Our Kefalonia & Ithaca walking holiday will take you from the Venetian-inspired history of Kefalonia to the dense forests of Ithaca, with a stop at the stunning beach of Gidaki along the way. Walking Holidays in Crete
This is one for more experienced hikers who enjoy a long day in their boots. The ruggedness of the island makes for a stunning backdrop, as we weave our way through traditional villages, historic archaeological sites, leading to panoramic views across island and to the sea.
One of our highlights of our Crete walking holiday is on day 4, where after a long hike we finish at the sandy beach of Falasarna to cool off with a swim in its clear waters and enjoy a traditional lunch at the beachfront tavernas.

Italy Walking Holidays
What better way to refuel after a long day out than a hearty bowl of pasta accompanied by a glass of the local red? Whether it's the lakes in the north, the rolling hills of Tuscany, or down to the islands of the south, a walking holiday in Italy is a bucket list trip for us.
A perfect mix of walking and ferry-hopping will mean you’ll enjoy everything that the beautiful Lake Garda has to offer. This trip includes three walks, leaving plenty of time for you to explore the beautiful promenades and charming towns dotted around the lake. This one is ideal for those who want to enjoy a combination of walking with a group, and free time for slow mornings over a cappucino and long lunches in an idyllic setting.
Our Tuscany adventure will take you through some of Italy’s most beautiful scenery, as we make our way through hilltop towns, vineyards, and olive groves, while of course stopping to sample the gastronomic delights Tuscany is famed for. With day trips to Florence and Pisa, you’ll also be able to take in some of Italy’s most iconic sights.
Italian Island Hopping Walking Holidays
Dreaming of a Mediterranean island hopping experience without the crowds? Our Aeolian Islands walking tour will tick all of your boxes. While most people will think island hopping is reserved for Greece, there’s a reason that Italy’s Aeolian Islands are known as the “pearls of the Mediterranean”.This tour starts with exploring the quaint old town of Lipari, before venturing to Vulcano Island, spectacular canyons, and ancient thermal baths. This walking holiday also includes two free days at leisure, with boat tours and other excursions available.
The island of Sicily is a feast for the senses! For our week on the island we’ll be based at Giardini Naxos, a relaxing retreat with picturesque winding streets and a beautiful beach to enjoy in our free time. Our walks in Sicily showcase the island at its best: we’ll take in Mount Etna, the city of Catania, and the historic town of Taormina (you may recognise it from a few scenes in The Godfather). Our last day of walking is exploring the Alcantara Gorge, a stunning walk, followed by a visit to a local winery where we’ll enjoy the beautiful wine and a lunch made up of fresh local produce. This trip also includes two free days, where you can enjoy a restful day at the beach or continue exploring the history of the island – our guide is always on hand to help with any necessary travel arrangements.
Spain Walking Holidays
Our week in Mallorca will show you a whole other side to the beautiful island. While many flock to its beaches, we’ll be hiking through stunning hilltop towns, navigating the medieval Postman’s route, and enjoying the famous wooden train from Sóller to Palma.
We have four days of walking in our itinerary, leaving two days for you to soak up the sun at Mallorca’s pristine beaches or simply make the most of the rooftop pool at our four-star accommodation.
Portugal Walking Holidays
This beautiful little corner of Portugal has so much more to offer than golf. We start this trip with a walk along the picturesque sand dunes of Altura, before heading onto the Monte Gordo pine forest. On day three we’ll hop on the ferry across to Andalucia for some tapas, we’re so close to the border that it would be rude not to pop over for croquetas for lunch.
One of our highlights of this trip is on our last day, where we take the train to Olhão. The town was inspired by the architecture of Morrocco and its whitewashed houses became a hotbed for writers, artists and photographers in years gone by. We’ll also visit the Muncipal Market, by day its full of local produce, before becoming a hub for the local nightlife in the evenings.
Our walking tours are some of our favourite trips: stunning locations, delicious local food, and you’ll enjoy it all with new friends. You can find more information and book your spot on any of our singles walking holidays here.
