Situated in lovely Dassia, one of the most popular resorts on the east coast of the island, the property is, as always, exclusive to Solos guests. Just a short walk from the Blue Flag award-winning Dassia Beach, with water sports for the active traveler and waterfront tavernas and bars. Enjoy group Greek evenings together in local tavernas and an included fantastic BBQ night hosted by Kiki and her family.

Our exclusive property-Aronda House
Our charming family-run property is exclusive to Solos guests and offers an uncrowded environment that you can relax and enjoy with the other Solos guests. Managed by the Korakianitis, Gregory, Kiki and their wonderful family are renowned for their warmth and hospitality, and will cater to your every need. Enjoy lazy pool days, with plenty of refreshments from the pool bar - which is also open to the public.
Ideally located in the heart of Dassia, this simple residence is just minutes from the Blue Flag award-winning shingle and pebbly Dassia Beach. This beach turns sandy as soon as you step into the clear shallow waters. Life is unhurried here. Watch the world go by as you sip on a refreshing drink in one of the excellent waterfront tavernas and bars. Sun loungers and beach umbrellas are lined up for hire across the beach, and for the more active, there is a selection of water sports and boat rentals for you to enjoy. As the sun goes down, there is a more relaxed feel, with a host of tavernas offering a range of cuisines, from traditional Greek to international. There are plenty of bars that open late into the evening, and even a few nightclubs if you are looking for a lively night out.

Away from the beach and swimming pool, Corfu has so much to offer. Corfu Town lies in a stunning setting on the Ionian Sea. Take in a slice of history at the beautiful Palace of the Saints George & Michael, which housed the British government in the early 19th century. Or just wander through the maze of streets in the old town. In the green hills of the hinterland, we will find the traditional village of Kato Korakiana. Here you'll get a real feel for the Greek way of life. There is even the option to take a horseback ride through the endless olive groves. We will also find a branch of the National Gallery and a handful of genuine Corfiot tavernas and restaurants offering all types of cuisine, from gyros to gourmet.
Wine & Dine Together
We all dine together with our included fantastic BBQ night. With a taverna in the garden overlooking the pool, Kiki and her family host the evening, preparing delicious food for everyone. The rest of the week, you'll have the option to head out to dine. There is a selection of restaurants only a short walk away or you can get to Corfu Town by taxi in 30 minutes.

Our property is surrounded by lush gardens. The location allows convenient access to Dassia Beach, as well as a promenade of shops, bars and restaurants.

Passports and visas
We recommend that you check passport and visa requirements for the country you are visiting at the State Department if you have a U.S. Passport. Most countries require that your passport have at least six months validity when traveling internationally, and many require that you have one to two blank visa pages for either an entry stamp or visa. As a general rule, please check that your passport has six months validity beyond your planned trip, and if not, please renew your passport with plenty of time to provide Solos with your updated passport information by the final payment due date.

You may wish to take an optional excursion during the course of your stay. Full details will be given at the Information Meeting. The prices quoted, are a guideline only, as these can vary, depending on numbers etc. All tours should be paid for in Euros and are only payable by cash. Credit cards are not accepted. The exact amount will be given at your Information Meeting. Your Tour Leader will help arrange these for you but may not necessarily accompany you.

- Asteras Boat Tour along the prestigious NE coastline involves swimming in coves and caves, a fabulous beach BBQ and all day drinks - Prices to be advised in resort (extra costs may be incurred for Vegetarian or Pescatarian).

Gratuities
There is often confusion on the question of gratuities, since it frequently depends on the type of trip, location and, of course, your attitude towards tipping, as to what is normally expected. In order to give you a rough idea, we have given appropriate guidance below. Your Tour Leader will be on hand to offer advice or suggestions if required but gratuities are offered entirely at the sole discretion of the individual. We suggest a group collection to cover drivers, porters and hotel staff of €20.00 per week.
Your Tour Leader will collect this on your behalf and distribute it accordingly, thus relieving you of the burden of who, when and how much to tip. The tipping of housekeeping will be left to your individual discretion (a small amount left in your room on departure should cover this and would be much appreciated). As is customary, ‘the hat’ will be passed around for the driver and guide on all optional excursions. For any meals that are not included in your itinerary, or taxi fares, your Tour Leader can advise of an appropriate amount to add on.
Dress Code
Casual, cotton, lightweight daytime wear is the order of the day. Comfortable shoes are a must for sightseeing. Smart casual clothes will be ideal for the evening, with the emphasis throughout being informal but with no shorts or vests in the restaurants in the evenings. Early and late season evenings can be cool so do ensure that you take a cardigan or jacket and even some rainwear – particularly in May and June when you may experience some spring thunderstorms.
Airport Transport
After a long international flight, the last thing you’ll want to deal with is figuring out local transportation. That’s why we make it simple: your trip includes a transfer from Corfu International Airport straight to our stunning Aronda House. You’ll be greeted at the airport and driven directly to the property—no haggling with taxis or navigating buses. The scenic drive takes around 30 minutes, so you can settle in quickly and start enjoying your Greek island getaway.
Flight Information
While there are currently no nonstop flights from the United States to Corfu, the island is easy to reach with convenient connections through major European hubs. This makes Corfu a great opportunity to combine your trip with another bucket list destination such as Athens, London, or Rome.
For East Coast travelers, getting to Corfu is straightforward. Direct flights operate daily from New York (JFK) and Newark (EWR) to Athens, with flight times of around 9 hours. From Athens, it’s just a quick 1-hour hop to Corfu with frequent daily departures. In total, travel time from New York to Corfu can be as short as 12 hours, making it one of the fastest routes from the US.
If you’re traveling from the West Coast, you’ll find multiple options as well. Los Angeles (LAX) offers direct flights to Athens, with a connection to Corfu bringing the average journey to 16–20 hours. With multiple airlines and flexible departure times, you can choose the schedule that works best for you.
