What you'll be doing

Day One: Arrive in Dublin
Begin your adventure in Dublin, the bustling capital of Ireland. Known for its lively atmosphere and rich historical landmarks. Upon arrival at Dublin International Airport, transfer and check into your hotel before meeting your guide for a walking city tour to take in the highlights of Dublin.
Later, return to the hotel for a welcome drinks reception, followed by dinner in the hotel - a perfect opportunity to get to know your Solos travel companions.

Day Two: Dublin - Belfast

Day Three: Giant's Causeway
This morning after breakfast we travel north to the UNESCO World Heritage Site - Giant's Causeway. We continue through the historic Walled City of Derry and onward into County Donegal. From there we head west to Sligo, a town that inspired the works of the famous poet W. B. Yeats. Surrounded by stunning landscapes, Sligo is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts. Discover the rugged beauty of Benbulden Mountain and the seren shores of Lough Gill. The town itself offers charming shops and cafes - perfect for a leisurely evening.

Day Four: Galway - Cliffs of Moher - Limerick
This morning we travel through Galway, stopping for a stroll through the winding streets, vibrant shops and local markets. From there we continue through the Burren and onto the majectic Cliffs of Moher. Our journey then takes us to Limerick - a city that blends medieval heritage with a modern twist. Situated on the banks of the River Shannon, Limerick is home to the the historic Milk Market, perfect for a leisurely walk. The city is also known for its vibrant arts scene, so be sure to explore its local galleries and theatres.

Day Five: Dingle Peninsula - Killarney
Today, we visit the charming village of Adare, renowned for its picturesque thatched-roof cottages. We then enjoy a scenic tour of the Dingle Peninsula and Slea Head Drive, offering breathtaking views over the Atlantic Ocean. Our journey continues to Killarney, where we'll stay for the next two nights. This evening, we enjoy dinner at our hotel.

Day Six: Ring of Kerry
A full Irish breakfast is served before we set off to explore the famous Ring of Kerry - a scenic coastal route offering breathtaking views of mountains, lakes, and the Atlantic Ocean. Upon our return to Killarney, you'll have free time to visit the charming town or explore Killarney National Park, where you can hike, cycle, or enjoy a traditional horse-drawn carriage ride* (*at own cost).

Day Seven: Blarney Castle - Cork - Waterford
Today, we travel over the scenic "Cork to Kerry Mountains" and on to Cork, where you'll have time to visit the iconic Blarney Castle with it's legendary Blarney Stone - and perhaps enjoy some shopping at the world-famous Blarney Wollen Mills. We then continue through Cork City, passing notable sights such as St Fin Barre's Cathedral and Fitzgerald's Park, before travelling onward to Waterford. Here, we visit the renowned House of Waterford Crystal, before some free time for you to explore at your leisure, with a range of museums and historic sights to discover.

Day Eight: Kilkenny - Dublin
Breakfast is served in the hotel restaurant before we travel north to the town of Kilkenny. You'll have free time here where you can visit the historic Kilkenny Castle, stroll along the Medieval Mile, and disvoer the town's rich Norman heritage. A visit to the Smithwick's Brewery may also be of interest, complete with tasting at the end.

Day Nine: Depart Dublin
We enjoy a hearty breakfast and are free to explore the city to view the sights on our own before transferring to Dublin International Airport.
