Day Two: Conwy & The Great Orme Tramway
After breakfast, we travel to nearby Conwy. Known for its medieval charm, this historic walled town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We’ll visit Conwy Castle, one of the most magnificent and well-preserved medieval fortresses in Wales. Walk along its battlements for panoramic views of the town, river and surrounding hills. We’ll then take a leisurely stroll along the town walls and cobbled streets. Browse local shops and stop at a café for a morning coffee or traditional Welsh treat.
On our return to Llandudno in the afternoon, we board the Great Orme Tramway, Britain’s only cable-hauled street tramway. Ride to the summit of the Great Orme for spectacular views of the North Wales coastline and Irish Sea. Enjoy some time at the top exploring the visitor centre or walking trails before returning to town for a seaside stroll along the promenade.
- Breakfast & dinner included

Day Three: Bodnant Gardens & Conwy Valley
Today, we enjoy a full day tour of the scenic Conwy Valley, stretching from the coastal town of Conwy inland through rolling countryside and dramatic mountain landscapes toward Betws-y-Coed and the Snowdonia National Park. Carved by the River Conwy, the valley is a tapestry of lush farmland, ancient woodlands, and charming stone-built villages. Along the way, we’ll find historic sites, traditional Welsh culture, and stunning natural beauty. Our first stop is the beautiful Bodnant Gardens, one of the most celebrated gardens in Wales, renowned for its breathtaking design, rich plant collections, and stunning views over the Conwy Valley towards the Snowdonia mountains. Managed by the National Trust, it spans around 80 acres and offers a remarkable blend of formal terraces, wild gardens, and woodland glades.
We continue to the picturesque market town of Llanrwst, with its iconic three-arched bridge and the ivy-clad Tu Hwnt i’r Bont tearoom. A short drive takes us on to Betws-y-Coed, often referred to as the Gateway to Snowdonia. The village dates back to the 14th century and its Victorian and stone-built architecture gives it a timeless charm. Filled with outdoor shops, cafés and local craft galleries, the afternoon is at leisure to explore before returning to Llandudno. In the evening we'll gather for our farewell dinner.
