What you’ll be doing

Day One: Arrive in Prague
- Dinner included

Day Two: Prague
We’ll marvel at the Astronomical Clock, mounted on the Old Town Hall, where every hour the figures of the Apostles appear in a charming mechanical show — one of Europe’s oldest working timepieces, dating back to 1410.
Our stroll then continues through winding medieval lanes lined with historic houses and hidden courtyards. Along the way, we’ll see the Carolinum, part of Charles University founded in 1348 by King Charles IV — the oldest university in Central Europe — and pass the Estates Theatre, one of Europe’s oldest working theatres, where Mozart premiered Don Giovanni in 1787.
Next, we visit the Jewish Quarter, once the Jewish ghetto, an area that preserves a unique part of Prague’s identity.
Finally, we cross the iconic Charles Bridge, Prague’s most famous landmark. Built in the 14th century and lined with Baroque statues, it offers spectacular views of Prague Castle and the Vltava River.
- Breakfast included

Day Three: Prague Castle
This morning, we head to Prague Castle, the largest coherent castle complex in the world, and an ancient symbol of Czech state. Our local guide will show us the interiors of the immense St. Vitus Cathedral, Old Royal Palace with late gothic Vladislav Hall, Roman St. George Basilica and the picturesque Golden Lane. Later, we can wander the gardens and admire palaces and churches of the Lesser Town.
- Breakfast included

Day Four: Guided tour of Ceský Krumlov
We’ll spend a full day exploring the beautiful city of Ceský Krumlov, a fairytale town steeped in history. Our local guide will lead us through its highlights, bringing to life the stories and secrets of Ceský Krumlov Castle. Afterwards, there’s free time to enjoy lunch and discover the town at your own pace before we return to Prague.
That evening, we’ll round off our trip in true Czech style with a farewell folklore dinner, filled with music, flavour and festive spirit.
- Breakfast & dinner included

Day Five: Depart Prague
After breakfast we’ll have free time to explore Prague further before transferring to the airport for our onward flight.

Essential Information
We recommend that you check passport and visa requirements for the country you are visiting at the State Department if you have a U.S. Passport. Most countries require that your passport have at least six months validity when traveling internationally, and many require that you have one to two blank visa pages for either an entry stamp or visa. As a general rule, please check that your passport has six months validity beyond your planned trip, and if not, please renew your passport with plenty of time to provide Solos with your updated passport information by the final payment due date.

We recommend that you check if vaccinations are required for your destination at the CDC’s recommendations for your visited destination(s). We also recommend you purchase travel protection. A travel protection plan can often assist with medical emergencies and reimburse costs that are covered by the plan. Please verify coverage details with Solos before you travel.
