We set off on a scenic hike through ancient woodland, eventually arriving at traditional katuns (mountain huts), where a homemade lunch is served in an authentic rustic setting.
Refreshed, we continue toward the Bendovac viewpoint, where sweeping views of the Bjelasica massif unfold below. We then make our way back to the starting point, finishing the hike, before transferring to the hotel.

Head up into the mountains for a guided hiking tour across the scenic peaks of Bjelasica Mountain, followed by the dramatic Komovi mountains, travelling along a mix of asphalt and scenic gravel roads. The tour includes a 1 hour 30 minute walk to fully appreciate the breathtaking panoramic views of the Komovi massif. After taking in the sweeping views, you’ll have the opportunity to stop at a traditional mountain hut restaurant, perfect for enjoying a local lunch.

Day Five: Mrtvica Canyon
The day begins in Kolašin with a short drive to the village of Međurečje, where the trail starts. Early on, we’ll pass Danilo’s Bridge, a charming 19th-century stone bridge perched above the river and a perfect spot for photos. Deeper into the canyon, the path leads to the Gate of Wishes, a naturally sculpted stone arch where tradition invites hikers to pause and make a wish before continuing. As the walk continues, the canyon narrows and the cliffs rise dramatically on either side, while the river below reveals a series of clear pools shimmering in vivid shades of blue and green.

Day Six: Zekova Glava
The Zekova Glava hike from Kolašin is one of the most accessible yet rewarding mountain walks in the Bjelasica range. The walk begins with a scenic cable car ride from Kolašin ski resort, lifting you above forests and rolling hills into the open alpine landscape near the Troglava area. From here, a well-marked trail leads across gentle grassy meadows with almost constant panoramic views. The soft terrain and wide-open scenery are classic Bjelasica, with surrounding peaks unfolding in every direction. On clear days, Lake Pešića glimmers in the distance.
The final ascent to Zekova Glava (2,117 m) is slightly steeper but manageable, rewarding hikers with one of the finest viewpoints in northern Montenegro. From the summit, sweeping vistas stretch across Bjelasica toward the Komovi mountains and, on exceptionally clear days, even Durmitor.
Thanks to the cable car, this hike delivers a true high-mountain experience without a long climb and is comfortably completed in 2–3 hours, including time to enjoy the views.

Upon arrival in Virpazar, we enjoy free time to explore the village or choose an optional boat cruise on Skadar Lake, gliding through lily-covered waters and exploring the region's rich birdlife.

Glide along a narrow river channel fringed with willows and reeds and enjoy panoramic views of Mount Vranjina and the majestic Albanian mountain ranges. Keep your eyes peeled for numerous native birds perched on the walls of Grmožur, the ruined fortress that rises dramatically before you. This abandoned stronghold once served as a prison during King Nikola’s era. While locals sometimes call it the “Island of Snakes,” it’s more famously known as the “Island of Birds,” home to a variety of permanent and seasonal bird species. On the return journey, the boat will pause in the open water for a refreshing swim.
