Day One: Arrival in Tallinn

Day Two: City Tour of Tallinn
After breakfast, we discover Estonia’s capital on a guided city tour of Tallinn. Explore the atmospheric medieval Old Town, with its charming cobbled streets, historic merchant houses, Town Hall Square and impressive panoramic viewpoints. Continue to Telliskivi Creative City, Tallinn’s vibrant creative district, where converted industrial spaces are home to contemporary design, street art, independent cafés and local boutiques. The remainder of the day is free at leisure, providing time to explore Tallinn independently, relax or enjoy the city’s restaurants and cafés.

Day Three: Tallinn to Riga via Sigulda & Gaujas National Park
After breakfast, we depart Tallinn and travel south towards Latvia, stopping in Pärnu, Estonia’s popular seaside resort, known for its sandy beaches and relaxed atmosphere. We continue our journey towards Sigulda and Gauja National Park, one of Latvia’s most scenic regions. Explore the picturesque landscapes, dense forests and sandstone cliffs with a visit to Turaida Castle, a striking medieval landmark overlooking the surrounding Gauja River valley.
After lunch, we continue to Riga, Latvia’s vibrant capital, and check in to our hotel. The evening is free at leisure to relax or explore the city independently.

Day Four: City Tour of Riga
Today, we discover Latvia’s vibrant capital on a guided city tour of Riga. Explore the historic centre and admire the city’s remarkable architectural heritage, from medieval landmarks to its celebrated Art Nouveau buildings. Highlights include the Dome Cathedral, home to one of the world’s largest pipe organs, St Peter’s Church with its panoramic city views, the historic Guild Houses, Swedish Gate, the architectural ensemble of the Three Brothers, St Jacob’s Church, Parliament House and Riga Castle. Along the way, admire the beautifully restored buildings now home to welcoming cafés, restaurants, bars and shops.
Continue to Riga Central Market, one of Europe’s largest and most distinctive markets, housed within five historic Zeppelin hangars. Soak up the lively atmosphere as we browse stalls showcasing fresh produce and local specialities. During our visit, we'll enjoy a tasting of traditional Latvian products, offering an authentic introduction to the flavours and culinary traditions of the region.

Day Five: Day at Leisure
Today is at leisure in Riga, offering the perfect opportunity to explore the Latvian capital at our own pace. Wander through the charming Old Town, discover its beautiful architecture and hidden courtyards, browse local shops and markets, or relax in one of the city’s cafés and restaurants. Alternatively, take some time to visit one of Riga’s museums or simply enjoy the city’s vibrant atmosphere.

Day Six: Riga to Vilnius via Rundale Palace & Hill of Crosses
After breakfast, depart Riga and journey south towards Lithuania, with two fascinating cultural highlights along the way. Begin with a visit to Rundāle Palace, one of Latvia’s most magnificent Baroque and Rococo landmarks. Explore the lavish palace and elegant formal gardens, offering a glimpse into the grandeur of 18th-century aristocratic life. Continue across the border into Lithuania to the remarkable Hill of Crosses, a unique pilgrimage site where thousands of crosses have been placed by visitors over generations.
Enjoy lunch before continuing to Vilnius, Lithuania’s historic capital. On arrival, check in to our hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.

Day Seven: City Tour of Vilnius
Today, we discover Vilnius, Lithuania’s elegant capital, on a guided city tour through its atmospheric historic centre. Explore the charming Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and admire its rich blend of Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque and Classical architecture. Visit Gediminas Tower, one of the city’s most recognisable landmarks, before continuing to Vilnius University, one of the oldest universities in Central and Eastern Europe, renowned for its historic courtyards and architectural heritage.
Later, we enjoy a Džiugas cheese tasting, sampling one of Lithuania’s best-known cheeses and discovering more about the country’s culinary traditions.
The remainder of the afternoon is free at leisure, offering time to explore Vilnius independently or relax at our own pace.

Day Eight: Departure from Vilnius
We enjoy a final breakfast as a group and make our way to the airport for our flight back to the UK.

- less than 10 years old on the day you enter (check the ‘date of issue’)
- valid for at least 3 months after the day you plan to leave (check the ‘expiry date’)
Check both the issue date and the expiry date in your passport. If you renewed your passport early, extra months may have been added to its expiry date. This could affect the requirement for your passport to be less than 10 years old.
A visa is not required by holders of passports endorsed “British Citizen” for stays of upto 90 days in any 180-day period. Please note that stays in other EU countries counts towards this 90 day period.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the correct visa, a valid passport and any other travel documents for your holiday.
