What you'll be doing
Day One: Arrival into Berlin
Welcome to Berlin! After arrival at Berlin Brandenburg Airport, we will take our transfer to our centrally located hotel. After check-in, we enjoy a welcome drink before heading out to explore Berlin’s festive atmosphere at the famous Alexanderplatz Christmas Market.
Located in the heart of Berlin, Alexanderplatz comes alive with beautifully decorated stalls, festive lights, handmade gifts, and seasonal treats. We take time to soak up the Christmas spirit, browse the market and enjoy the lively atmosphere of one of Berlin’s most popular Christmas destinations.
A welcome dinner awaits us at the hotel before we settle in for the night.

Day Two: Exploring Berlin & TV Tower Visit

Day Three: Journey to Poznan & Ice Festival
We have breakfast before boarding a coach for a scenic 3.5-hour journey to Poznan, Poland. Upon arrival, we explore the city’s charming Christmas markets, searching for unique decorations and festive treats. The highlight of the day is the International Ice Sculpture Festival, where we watch talented artists create dazzling ice masterpieces.

Day Four: Poznan’s Winter Wonders
After breakfast, our guide leads us on a sightseeing tour of Poznan. We visit Mickiewicz Square, the Imperial Castle, and the gothic Cathedral on Ostrów Tumski. Strolling through the Old Town, we admire the colourful Market Square and Renaissance Town Hall. A special treat awaits us at the Croissant Museum, where we learn the secrets of Poznan’s famous St. Martin’s Croissants in an entertaining show. The evening is free to enjoy Poznan’s festive spirit.

Day Five: Departure Day
After breakfast, we transfer to Poznan Airport for our journey home. We leave with warm holiday memories, festive souvenirs, and the joy of experiencing two magical Christmas destinations.

Essential Information
To enter Poland your passport must meet 2 requirements. It must be:
- less than 10 years old on the day you enter (check the ‘date of issue’)
- valid for at least 3 months after the day you plan to leave (check the ‘expiry date’)
Check both the issue date and the expiry date in your passport. If you renewed your passport early, extra months may have been added to its expiry date. This could affect the requirement for your passport to be less than 10 years old.
A visa is not required by holders of passports endorsed “British Citizen” for stays of upto 90 days in any 180-day period. Please note that stays in other EU countries counts towards this 90 day period. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the correct visa, a valid passport and any other travel documents for your holiday.

From the 12th October 2025 the EU is introducing a new European Entry System (EES) that will be phased in and fully operational by the 10th April 2026. Non-EU nationals including British passport holders will now be required to complete biometric checks on arrival and exit to Schengen countries, which will include facial recognition and fingerprints. There is no cost for this, and no action needs to be taken prior to departure.
