The location: Island of Brac
Brac is the largest island in central Dalmatia, Croatia, known for its crystal-clear Adriatic waters, charming stone-built villages, and beautiful Adriatic scenery. Famous for the stunning Zlatni Rat beach near Bol, the island offers a mix of relaxation, outdoor activities, local culture, and traditional Croatian hospitality, making it an ideal destination for solo travellers seeking an authentic island escape.

Our resort: Supetar
Supetar is the largest town on Brac Island and serves as the island’s main ferry port, welcoming visitors with its picturesque harbour, palm-lined promenade, and relaxed Adriatic atmosphere. Combining traditional Dalmatian charm with modern amenities, Supetar offers beautiful beaches, inviting cafés, historic stone architecture, and easy access to explore the rest of the island, making it an excellent base for a Croatian island holiday.

There is often confusion on the question of gratuities, since it frequently depends on the type of holiday, location and, of course, your attitude towards tipping, as to what is normally expected. To give you a rough idea, we have given appropriate guidance below.
Your Tour Leader will be on hand to offer advice or suggestions if required but gratuities are offered entirely at the sole discretion of the individual. We suggest a group collection to cover drivers, guides, porters, and hotel staff of approximately €25 per person. Your Tour Leader will collect this on your behalf and distribute it accordingly, thus relieving you of the burden of who, when and how much to tip.
