Mercure Gloucester Bowden Hall Hotel
Set within 12 acres of beautiful Cotswolds parkland, the Mercure Gloucester Bowden Hall Hotel provides the perfect setting for a relaxing and entertaining weekend away. This elegant Grade II listed Georgian hotel combines traditional character with contemporary style, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive.
With delicious dining and a welcoming bar, all surrounded by picturesque lawns and lakes, there is plenty to enjoy before and after your evening's entertainment.
'Allo! 'Allo! - 1st May 2027
- Arrive at Mercure Bowden Hall Hotel, where you will be warmly greeted by Rene and Edith. Upon your arrival, they will assist you with checking into your room, ensuring you are comfortable and settled in for your stay.
- At 4pm, you are invited to enjoy a delightful Cream Tea, served with the assistance of the Allo Allo team, providing a charming and authentic touch to the afternoon.
- The evening's festivities will begin at 8pm with a much anticipated Allo Allo show. During the performance, you will be treated to a fabulous three-course meal. After the show concludes, the fun continues with a lively disco, which will run until midnight, offering the perfect opportunity to dance the night away.

Fawlty Towers Revisited- 21st August 2027
- Basil is not happy when the hotel is booked by Simon Cowell for a number of Tribute acts, due to the hotel they originally booked having to close due to a boiler failure.
- Hear Abba sing like you never had before, be amazed by Tommy Cooper, Ken Dodd will have you tickled pink, Austrin Powers if feeling Groovy, Elvis is in the room and Eric Morecombe will Bring you Sunshine.
- Can Basil cope with social media, reality television and an invasion of tribute acts? Will Sybil drag the hotel into the 21st Century and does Mauel ever audition for Simon Cowell?
- Who is the mystery guest in Room 13 and are Elvis Presley and Abba really in the buildin? It's going to be a sing-along, fun-filled riot of a show!
On arrival, check-in and then at 4pm a cream tea will be served with the help of the Fawlty Towers Team. At 8pm, the Fawlty Towers Show will commence, and you will enjoy a 3 course meal, followed by a disco until 12am.
The next morning, enjoy a full english breakfast before checking out as Basil, Sybil and Manuel say their goodbyes Fawlty Towers style!

Location & Transport
The Mercure Gloucester Bowden Hall Hotel, Bondend Lane, Upton St Leonards, Gloucester, GL4 8ED is approximately 5 miles from junction 11A of the M5 and 4 miles from Gloucester Station. There is complimentary parking at the hotel.

There are stairs leading to all rooms which you must be able to manage independently.
Gratuities
There is often confusion on the question of gratuities, since it frequently depends on the type of holiday, location and, of course, your attitude towards tipping, as to what is normally expected. In order to give you a rough idea, we have given appropriate guidance below. Your Tour Leader will be on hand to offer advice or suggestions if required but gratuities are offered entirely at the sole discretion of the individual. We suggest a group collection to cover drivers, porters and hotel staff of £10.00.
Your Tour Leader will collect this on your behalf and distribute it accordingly, thus relieving you of the burden of who, when and how much to tip. The tipping of housekeeping will be left to your individual discretion (a small amount left in your room on departure should cover this and would be much appreciated). As is customary, ‘the hat’ will be passed around for the driver and guide on all optional excursions. For any meals that are not included in your itinerary, or taxi fares, your Tour Leader can advise of an appropriate % to add on.
