What you’ll be doing
Beautiful Corfu
The island of Corfu, off the coast of mainland Greece, is a favourite amongst Solos holidaymakers, with its landscapes of olive and cypress groves, plus a picturesque coastline with lovely beaches and crystal clear water. The most northerly of the Ionian Islands, Corfu is also one of the most traditional. This island’s charm and beauty has captivated Solos for decades and remains as exciting as ever.
Organised Tennis
We include a 5 day programme of organised tennis, with friendly and competitive games arranged by our Solos Tour Leader. The hotel has a superb range of facilities including hard surface (quartz sand) tennis courts.
Feeling Sporty
If you are still feeling sporty you can choose between all the water and land activities on offer - from the quiet canoes and pedal boats to mountain bikes and table tennis, we are sure to be kept busy.
Time Off
Take time off from the courts and explore the coastline on a cruise to San Stefano and Kalami, famous for Durrells’ ‘White House’ and its beautiful beach. Or why not visit Corfu Town or even go further afield on a day trip to Albania?

Grecotel Luxme Daphnila Bay 4*
This firm Solos favourite with lovely, well appointed rooms, offers a wealth of fantastic facilities within a beautiful beach side, picturesque location. Offering an All Inclusive board basis, along with the well equipped and superbly maintained Tennis Club on site, it is no wonder why the Daphnila welcomes back our Solos tennis players year after year.
*Please note that the hotel lies at the top of a hillside so there are some steps and sloping walkways down to the bungalows and the beach.
Facilities include
There are a variety of restaurants, bars and shops around the pool and lounge area, while a shuttle bus runs between the hotel main building, the beach and beach taverna. A selection of spa treatments are available at an extra charge at the luxurious Elixir Thalassotherapy Centre.

Our rooms can be found in the garden bungalows or in the main building and feature satellite TV, a telephone, fridge, safe, air-conditioning, hairdryer and balcony or terrace.

Tennis Programme
We include a 5-day programme of organised tennis, with our Solo's Tour Leader organising the friendly competitions. Don’t forget to pack your tennis racquet!
Tennis timings (subject to change): 10h00 – 13h00 16h00 – 18h00
Dress Code
Either tennis or casual attire during the day. Proper tennis footwear is of course required when on court. Smart casual clothes will be ideal for the evening. Please note that shorts should not be worn for evening meals. Appropriate comfortable shoes are a must for sightseeing.

Gratuities
We suggest a Group Collection to cover transfer drivers, and hotel staff of €20.00 per person. Your Tour Leader will collect this on your behalf and distribute it accordingly, thus relieving you of the burden of who, when and how much to tip. The tipping of housekeeping will be left to your individual discretion (a small amount left in your room on departure should cover this and would be much appreciated). As is customary, ‘the hat’ will be passed around for the driver and guide on all optional excursions. For any meals that are not included in your itinerary, or taxi fares, your Tour Leader can advise of an appropriate % add on.
Important Information
A solos social tennis holiday is not suitable for complete beginners. Guests must be able to:
- Hold a rally
- Serve and return to a good standard
Passport, Visa & Entry Requirements Greece
To enter Greece mainland or the Greek Islands your passport must meet 2 requirements. It must be:
- less than 10 years old on the day you enter (check the ‘date of issue’)
- valid for at least 3 months after the day you plan to leave (check the ‘expiry date’)
Check both the issue date and the expiry date in your passport. If you renewed your passport early, extra months may have been added to its expiry date. This could affect the requirement for your passport to be less than 10 years old.
Visa Information
A visa is not required by holders of passports endorsed “British Citizen” for stays of upto 90 days in any 180-day period. Please note that stays in other EU countries counts towards this 90 day period. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the correct visa, a valid passport and any other travel documents for your holiday

If you are not a British citizen and do not hold a British passport, you must make your own enquiries as to the applicable requirements.
From the 12th October 2025 the EU is introducing a new European Entry System (EES) that will be phased in and fully operational by the 10th April 2026. Non-EU nationals including British passport holders will now be required to complete biometric checks on arrival and exit to Schengen countries, which will include facial recognition and fingerprints. There is no cost for this, and no action needs to be taken prior to departure.
