In the morning, we cruise to the captivating island of Vis, enjoying lunch on board and a refreshing swim stop in the crystal-clear waters of the Adriatic along the way. We arrive in Vis during the afternoon, where you'll discover one of Croatia's most authentic and unspoilt island destinations.

For centuries, Vis served as an important military stronghold and was closed to foreign visitors for much of the 20th century. As a result, it has escaped the large-scale tourism development seen elsewhere along the Adriatic coast, preserving its natural beauty, traditional stone architecture, and relaxed Mediterranean charm.

Spend the afternoon exploring the picturesque town of Vis at your leisure. Stroll through its narrow stone streets, admire the elegant waterfront lined with palm trees and historic buildings, relax on one of its pristine beaches, or sample local specialities in the island's welcoming taverns and cafés.

For those wishing to see more of the island, an optional excursion is available. This scenic tour showcases the island's rugged landscapes, vineyards, and hidden coves, and includes a visit to Komiža, a charming fishing village nestled on the western coast. With its colourful waterfront, traditional stone houses, and rich maritime heritage, Komiža offers an authentic glimpse into island life and is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful villages in the Adriatic.

Famous for its stunning coastline, Bol is home to Zlatni Rat (Golden Cape), one of Europe's most iconic beaches. Stretching gracefully into the crystal-clear Adriatic, this ever-changing pebble spit is renowned for its unique shape and spectacular setting beneath the slopes of Vidova Gora, the highest peak among the Croatian islands. During our stop, you can enjoy time at leisure to wander through the charming waterfront town, relax with a coffee at a local café, browse the boutique shops, or take a refreshing swim in the turquoise waters.
Returning to the ship, lunch is served on board as we continue our journey towards Pučišća, enjoying refreshing swim stops along the way in some of the Adriatic's most beautiful bays.

Arriving in the afternoon, we discover Pučišća, the largest settlement on the island of Brač and widely regarded as one of the most beautiful villages in Croatia. Set around a dramatic natural harbour, the town's striking white limestone buildings rise from the waterfront, creating a breathtaking scene that reflects centuries of local craftsmanship and tradition. The spectacular setting, authentic Mediterranean architecture, and peaceful atmosphere make Pučišća a truly unforgettable destination.

The village is also renowned for its stonemasonry heritage and is home to Croatia's only School of Stonemasonry. Here, students continue the centuries-old tradition of carving the island's famous white limestone, a material used in notable buildings around the world. Their remarkable work provides a fascinating insight into one of Dalmatia's most enduring crafts.

This evening, we remain overnight in this tranquil and atmospheric harbour town. As dusk settles over the waterfront and the lights begin to shimmer across the bay, Pučišća takes on an entirely new charm. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings before gathering aboard for the Captain's Dinner, a special evening celebrating our voyage with delicious cuisine, good company, and memorable Adriatic hospitality.

Today, this UNESCO World Heritage Site forms the vibrant centre of Split, where ancient monuments, bustling squares, charming cafés, and local life coexist within walls that have stood for more than 1,700 years. As you explore its labyrinth of narrow streets and hidden courtyards, you'll discover the rich history and unique character that make Split one of the Adriatic's most captivating destinations.
We return to the ship for lunch as we continue our cruise along the stunning Dalmatian coastline towards Omiš.

Nestled at the mouth of the dramatic Cetina River Canyon, Omiš is a picturesque medieval town surrounded by towering cliffs and crystal-clear waters. Once a notorious stronghold of fearless pirates who challenged the powerful Republic of Venice, Omiš has a fascinating past marked by courage, determination, and maritime adventure. Its well-preserved fortresses, ancient stone churches, and historic city walls stand as enduring reminders of this colourful history.
Upon arrival, enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. Take a stroll through the atmospheric old town, relax at a waterfront café, or simply soak up the spectacular scenery where mountains, river, and sea meet in one of Croatia's most breathtaking settings. Early and late season evenings can be cool so do ensure that you take a cardigan or jacket
Gratuities

There is often confusion on the question of gratuities, since it frequently depends on the type of holiday, location and, of course, your attitude towards tipping, as to what is normally expected. To give you a rough idea, we have given appropriate guidance below.

Your Tour Leader will be on hand to offer advice or suggestions if required but gratuities are offered entirely at the sole discretion of the individual. We suggest a group collection at the beginning of your holiday to cover drivers, guides, porters, and hotel staff of approximately €50 per person. Your Tour Leader will collect this on your behalf and distribute it accordingly, thus relieving you of the burden of who, when and how much to tip.

All information provided relates to British citizens who hold or are entitled to apply for a British passport. For the most up-to-date visa information please visit;  Croatia Foreign Advice
