Join us for a memorable three-night stay in the heart of Dublin, just steps from the city's main attractions. We begin our escorted group city break with a relaxed evening meeting our fellow Solos guests over a drink and three-course dinner. On our second day, we take a guided walking tour through Dublin's rich history visiting landmarks such as Trinity College, Leinster House, Merrion Square and Grafton Street. The following day, we get to experience Irish whiskey heritage with a tour and tasting at the iconic Jameson Distillery on Bow Street, learning about the craft behind one of Ireland's most famous spirits. Day One: Arrive in Dublin

Day One: Arrive in Dublin

After arriving at Dublin Airport, we head to our hotel in the centre of Dublin. We gather this evening for a welcome drink and a three-course dinner.

Day Two: Guided Walking Tour

Day Two: Guided Walking Tour

After a delicious breakfast, we meet our walking tour guide and stroll down the city's main thoroghfare, O'Connell Street where we'll pass the iconic General Post Office (GPO) - a historic landmark famously associated with the 1916 Easter Rising.
 
Our walk continues past the prestigious Trinity College, home to the world-renowned Book of Kells, before heading into Dublin's elegant Georgian Quarter. Along the way, we'll see Leinster House, the seat of the Irish Parliament, and Merrion Square, once home to the legendary writer Oscar Wilde.

We'll wrap up the tour near Grafton Street, Dublin's bustling shopping district, with the rest of the day at our leisure to explore the surround vibrant streets and soak in the city's unique charm.

Day Three: Jameson Distillery

Day Three: Jameson Distillery

This morning, we make our way through the heart of the city to the iconic Jameson Distillery Bow Street for a fully guided experience. Step back in time as expert storytellers share fascinating tales, a few laughs, and reveal the secrets of the ‘Grain to Glass’ journey. The tour concludes with a comparative Jameson whiskey tasting—an immersive finale to an unforgettable visit.

 
The rest of our day is at leisure to explore more of Dublin. Why not head to the Guiness Storehouse, Dublin Castle, Irish Museum of Modern Art or enjoy live music at The Temple Bar, all easily accessible using the hop-on hop-off bus* (*not included).

Gratuities
There is often confusion on the question of gratuities, since it frequently depends on the type of holiday, location and, of course, your attitude towards tipping, as to what is normally expected. In order to give you a rough idea, we have given appropriate guidance below. Your Tour Leader will be on hand to offer advice or suggestions if required but gratuities are offered entirely at the sole discretion of the individual. We suggest a group collection to cover drivers, porters and hotel staff of €20.00. 
 
Your Tour Leader will collect this on your behalf and distribute it accordingly, thus relieving you of the burden of who, when and how much to tip. The tipping of housekeeping will be left to your individual discretion (a small amount left in your room on departure should cover this and would be much appreciated). As is customary, ‘the hat’ will be passed around for the driver and guide on all optional excursions. For any meals that are not included in your itinerary, or taxi fares, your Tour Leader can advise of an appropriate add on.

Please note - There is walking and standing involved in this tour, therefore a reasonable level of fitness/mobility is required.
Transfer Time
The transfer time from Dublin Airport to our hotel in Dublin is approximately 30 minutes depending on the traffic.

If you choose to join the WhatsApp group, you’re consenting to your phone number being visible to other travellers. If you would prefer not to join the WhatsApp group, you can simply meet the group on your first day instead. Please note, if you have not received an email within 24 hours of departure, we recommend you check your email junk folder. Upon the conclusion of your holiday, please be informed that we will close your specific holiday WhatsApp group. Therefore, we recommend making personal arrangements with those you wish to stay in touch with before the holiday concludes. 

Photo Permissions: At the beginning of your trip, your Tour Leader will ask if you would be happy to sign a photo permission form. This means that any photographs taken during your holiday can be used by Solos to share what the Solos experience is all about. It also means you have lots of memories to go home with! Details will be given at your welcome meeting
