Join Solos for a memorable Easter weekend in Oxford. Your two-night escorted break begins with a warm welcome dinner at your hotel on the outskirts of Oxford, where you'll meet your fellow travellers. Together, we'll explore the historic university city of Oxford, including its renowned colleges on a guided walking tour. Afterwards, return to the hotel for a delicious dinner and a fun-filled disco. Depart refreshed after a wonderful Solos Easter in Oxford!

What you'll be doing
Day One: Arrive at the Voco Oxford Spires Hotel
Arriving at the hotel at our leisure, we enjoy a welcome drink this evening, followed by a delicious dinner together.

Day Two: Tour of Oxford
After breakfast our guided tour takes us through the cobbled streets which weave their way through over 800 years of history. Here we can visit one of the oldest colleges, the Sheldonian Theatre, the Bodleian Library as well as Radcliffe Square and Camera before finishing in the Victorian Covered Market. Afterwards, there is time to explore the city’s attractions or go shopping.
When we return to the hotel we can enjoy the hotel’s leisure facilities before we meet up for an evening of dinner and dancing.

Day Three: Departure Day
Today we bid farewell to a lovely few days in Oxford. If you are not in a hurry to leave, spend a leisurely morning taking advantage of the hotel's restaurant and leisure facilities.

Location & Transport
The Voco Oxford Spires Hotel is located within walking distance of the centre of Oxford. Parking is available at the hotel and is complimentary and easily accessible by car from the A40, M40 and M25. Oxford City Station is approximately 1 mile from the hotel.
Gratuities
There is often confusion on the question of gratuities, since it frequently depends on the type of holiday, location and, of course, your attitude towards tipping, as to what is normally expected. In order to give you a rough idea, we have given appropriate guidance below. The Tour Leader will be on hand to offer advice or suggestions if required but gratuities are offered entirely at the sole discretion of the individual. We suggest a group collection at the beginning of your holiday to cover drivers, guides and hotel staff (including restaurant, kitchen and reception staff) of approximately £15.
Your Tour Leader will collect this on your behalf and distribute it accordingly, thus relieving you of the burden of who, when and how much to tip. The tipping of bar staff and housekeeping will be left to your individual discretion (the rounding up of the drinks bill and a small amount left in your room on departure should cover this and would be much appreciated). As is customary, ‘the hat’ will be passed around for the driver and guide on all optional excursions. For any meals that are not included in your itinerary, restaurants expect a 10% gratuity (do check that service has not already been added to your bill). For taxis 10% of the metered fare.
Dress Code
The dress code for during the day is casual. Comfortable shoes for walking and sightseeing are recommended. In the evenings the dress code is smart/party wear with gentlemen requested to wear a shirt and tie.
Check-in/Check-out Times
Check-in time is 3pm and check-out time is 11 noon.
Luggage storage will be available.
Early check-in / late check-out is on request and subject to availability at check-in.
