About this holiday
Our hotel is located in the charming resort of Porto Cristo, on Mallorca's picturesque east coast. This traditional seaside town offers a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, making it an ideal destination for a peaceful beach holiday. Once a small fishing village, Porto Cristo has retained much of its authentic Mallorcan character while developing into a popular resort with a beautiful natural harbour, scenic waterfront and a great selection of cafes, restaurants and shops.
The golden sandy beach is in front of our hotel, where calm, crystal-celar Mediterranean waters make it perfect for swimming and sunbathing. The beach is well-equipped with sun loungers and parasols for hire, with nearby cafes offering everything needed for a relaxing day by the sea.
In the evenings, away from the islands party places, we can enjoy a leisurely walk along the attractive marina and promenade, stopping at one of the many waterfront bars or restaurants to sample local cuisine and soak up the laid-back atmosphere. While Porto Cristo is quieter than some of Mallorca's larger resorts, this is still a good choice of bars and occasional live music venues, making it the perfect place to unwind after a day in the sun.
Days on the beach
If you choose to take a break from relaxing by the intimate hotel poolside and spend the day at the beach instead, Porto Cristo beach is just a short walk opposite our hotel. This sheltered sandy beach is set within a picturesque natural bay, with calm, crystal-clear Mediterranean waters that are ideal for swimming and paddling. Sun loungers and parasols are available to hire, while the nearby cafes and restaurants make it easy to enjoy refreshments throughout the day.
Out and about
If you fancy a break from the beach, why not take a leisurely stroll along Porto Cristo's attractive harbour and waterfront Promenade? It's the the perfect place to soak up the relaxed atmosphere while watching the fishing boards and luxury yachts come and go. The town also hosts a weekly market where you'll find local produce, handmade crafts and holiday keepsakes, making it a great place to browse and pick up a memento of your stay.
Alternative, why not explore more on an optional excursion*? Visit Porto Cristo's most famous attraction - Caves of Drach, just 1km or a 15 minute walk from our hotel. Enjoy a boat trip from Porto Cristo Harbour and explore the hidden coves along Mallorcas East Coast or explore more on a full day Island Tour.
The choice is yours to do as much or as little as you desire.

Passports & Visas
A full 10-year passport is required valid for at least the duration of your stay. Holders of passports with the inscription “British Citizen” or “European Union” do not require a visa.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the correct visa, a valid passport and any other travel documents for your holiday. All information provided relates to British citizens who hold or are entitled to apply for a British passport.

If you are not a British citizen and do not hold a British passport, you must make your own enquiries as to the applicable requirements.
From the 12th October 2025 the EU is introducing a new European Entry System (EES) that will be phased in and fully operational by the 10th April 2026. Non-EU nationals including British passport holders will now be required to complete biometric checks on arrival and exit to Schengen countries, which will include facial recognition and fingerprints. There is no cost for this, and no action needs to be taken prior to departure.

Gratuities
There is often confusion on the question of gratuities, since it frequently depends on the type of holiday, location and, of course, your attitude towards tipping, as to what is normally expected. In order to give you a rough idea, we have given appropriate guidance below. Your Tour Leader will be on hand to offer advice or suggestions if required but gratuities are offered entirely at the sole discretion of the individual. We suggest a group collection to cover drivers, porters and hotel staff of €15.00 per week.
Your Tour Leader will collect this on your behalf and distribute it accordingly, thus relieving you of the burden of who, when and how much to tip. The tipping of housekeeping will be left to your individual discretion (a small amount left in your room on departure should cover this and would be much appreciated). As is customary, ‘the hat’ will be passed around for the driver and guide on all optional excursions. For any meals that are not included in your itinerary, or taxi fares, your Tour Leader can advise of an appropriate add on.
