After breakfast, we head to Mdina and Rabat, where we view St Paul's Cathedral from the outside in Mdina. This afternoon, we explore the carnival in Floriana where the atmosphere is festive, colourful and family-friendly. Here, you will find streets filled with families, children in fancy dress, music, confetti, food stalls, and constant activity through the afternoon as crowds gather to watch the parades and performances. Seating is not available in this area.

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and the day at leisure to relax, explore more or enjoy an optional excursion. Late afternoon, we head to Valletta to enjoy more of the carnival parades, performances and street entertainment throughout the city before making our way either on foot through the streets of Valletta (25 minute walk) or via the Barrakka Lift (€1 payable locally) from the Upper Barrakka Gardens plus a 10 minute walk to our farewell dinner of traditional maltese cuisine and an evening reminiscing of the unique time spent together.
