Slaley Hall Golf

Slaley Hall Golf Club is one of England’s leading golf venues, featuring two championship 18-hole courses set within beautiful Northumberland countryside. The famous Hunting Course, known as the “Augusta of the North”, offers a true test of golf, while the scenic Priestman Course provides an enjoyable challenge with stunning Tyne Valley views. Together with excellent practice facilities and a clubhouse featuring the Claret Jug Golf Bar, the courses make Slaley Hall an outstanding destination for a sociable golf break.

Hunting Course

With its scenic setting, variety of holes and enjoyable layout, the Priestman Course provides the perfect complement to Slaley Hall's more demanding Hunting Course, making it a favourite for both experienced golfers and those seeking a relaxed round.

The hotels provides 400 complimentary car parking spaces and 14 AC bays available on site for electric vehicles.

Golf attire during the day. Golf shoes with soft spikes are required. We suggest smart casual for the evenings.

Gratuities

There is often confusion on the question of gratuities, since it frequently depends on the type of holiday, location and, of course, your attitude towards tipping, as to what is normally expected. To give you a rough idea, we have given appropriate guidance below. The Tour Leader will be on hand to offer advice or suggestions if required but gratuities are offered entirely at the sole discretion of the individual. We suggest a group collection at the beginning of your holiday to porters, golf & hotel staff of approximately £15. Your Tour Leader will collect this on your behalf and distribute it accordingly, thus relieving you of the burden of who, when and how much to tip.

Buggy, Trolley & Club Hire

Shared golf buggies are included in the package price.

Trolleys are available at a cost of £5.00 for a manual trolly and £15 for electric per round

Golf Club Hire - £20 per round. (subject to change)

Golf Handicaps

This golfing break is for "All Golfers" . Handicaps are not required

Golf Club Insurance

You will most probably find that your golf clubs are covered on your household insurance policy. Most policies cover a single item such as golf clubs for a period out of the country. However, you should make very sure that you do have sufficient cover and take out an additional policy if required.
