Day One: Overnight flight

Day Two: London - Delhi
- Breakfast & dinner included

Day Three: Exploring Delhi
We begin the day with a tour tour of Old and New Delhi. We’ll start in Old Delhi, driving past the magnificent Red Fort before enjoying a cycle rickshaw ride through the lanes of Chandni Chowk. We’ll also pass Kotla Firoze Shah—ruins of an old 14th-century fort—and visit Raj Ghat, where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated in 1948. Later, we’ll enjoy a fixed-menu Indian lunch at a restaurant in Old Delhi. In the afternoon, we’ll explore New Delhi, driving past the Presidential Palace (Rashtrapati Bhavan), along Rajpath and on to India Gate.
- Breakfast, lunch & dinner included

Day Four: Delhi - Agra (240km)
We check out of our hotel this morning and travel to Agra—home to the famous Taj Mahal (approx. 4.5-hour drive). On arrival this afternoon, we’ll visit the historic Agra Fort, the main residence of the Mughal emperors until 1638, when the capital moved from Agra to Delhi.
- Breakfast & dinner included

Day Five: Agra - Jaipur (240km)
At sunrise, we visit the iconic Taj Mahal—often described as one of the wonders of the world and known as the greatest love story ever told. This stunning 17th-century white marble mausoleum was built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal, who died in childbirth. It took 22 years to complete.
- Breakfast & dinner included

Day Six: Holi Festival in Jaipur
Today, India bursts into life with Holi, the Hindu festival of colour. Celebrated for centuries, Holi marks the arrival of spring and the promise of new beginnings after the long winter. It symbolises the triumph of good over evil and the renewal of life. Across the country, streets and towns transform into vibrant scenes of red, green, yellow and blue as people toss coloured powders into the air and joyfully splash one another. Each hue carries meaning: red represents love and fertility, green signifies renewal and new beginnings, yellow reflects turmeric—a spice native to India and deeply rooted in South Asian cuisine and culture—and blue honours Krishna, the beloved Hindu deity.
We join the festivities in Jaipur, where the Pink City becomes a living canvas of dazzling colour. Here, we’ll take part in the joyful throwing of powder and spraying of coloured water, while enjoying traditional folk music and dance. The celebrations are then rounded off with a delicious lunch of local Indian cuisine, offering a true taste of the region.
- Breakfast, lunch & dinner included

Day Seven: Jaipur
This morning, we set out on a half-day excursion to Amber Fort, stopping en route at the iconic Hawa Mahal, or Palace of Winds, for a great photo opportunity. Built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh, this striking façade allowed the women of the royal household to observe the bustle and ceremonial processions of the city while remaining unseen. Our journey then continues to Amber Fort, a honey-coloured fortress-palace nestled in the Aravalli Hills and often described as the “sleeping beauty” of Rajasthan. Constructed from sandstone and marble, the complex is made up of four interconnected courtyards, along with ornate palaces, audience halls and landscaped gardens.
- Breakfast & dinner included

Day Eight: Jaipur - Jodhpur (350km)
We drive to Jodhpur after breakfast (approx. 7-hour drive). On arrival this afternoon, we visit Mehrangarh Fort—one of the most magnificent forts in India. Its battlements rise from 6m to 36m high and, as the building materials were chiselled from the rock on which the fort stands, the structure seems to merge with its base. Still run by the Jodhpur royal family, Mehrangarh is packed with history and legends.
- Breakfast & dinner included

Day Nine: Jodhpur - Bikaner (230km)
We depart for Bikaner this morning (approx. 4-hour drive). Set on the edge of the Thar Desert, this historic trading city was founded in 1488 by the Rajput prince Rao Bika. On arrival, we’ll check in to our hotel, with the rest of the afternoon at leisure to relax or explore at your own pace.
- Breakfast & dinner included

Day Ten: Exploring Bikaner
Today, we tour Junagarh Fort, one of the finest Rajput monuments. Within this Rathore stronghold, paved courtyards, narrow stairways and terraces link an intricate complex of palaces, pavilions and beautifully crafted Jain temples built by successive rulers. We then continue to the Ganga Singh Museum, home to an extensive collection of artefacts and archaeological finds. Our tour concludes at the National Research Centre on Camel, where camels are bred and trained and research is carried out on different breeds, reflecting their vital role in sustaining the fragile desert ecosystem.
- Breakfast & dinner included

Day Eleven: Bikaner - Delhi (450km)
We’ll have an early morning check-out before transferring to Bikaner Junction to board the DEC Vande Bharat to Delhi (approx. 6-hour train journey). On arrival in Delhi, we’ll transfer to our hotel. The rest of the day is free to buy souvenirs or relax at the hotel.
- Breakfast & dinner included

Day Twelve: Delhi - London
After breakfast, we transfer to Delhi Airport for our return flight home.
