What you'll be doing
Day One : Arrive Nottingham - Dinner & Disco
Welcome to Nottingham! Known for it's legendary links to Robin Hood and the impressive Nottingham Castle.
Arrive at the hotel at your leisure, where check-in is from 3pm and enjoy the facilities before we meet for a welcome drink, dinner and a disco where you can dance the night away.

Day Two : Guide City Tour of Nottingham
After breakfast, we meet with our guide for a walking tour of Nottingham . This tour doesn't just cover history - it's about experienceing Nottingham through the eyes of those who shaped it. Wander through Nottingham's oldest streets, uncovering storis of Anglo-Saxon settlers, medieval merchants, and daring outlaws. Learn how the Industrial Revolution transformed the city, explore it's ancient cave system, and hear tales of Robin Hood, body snatchers, and revolutionary entrepreneurs who changed the course of history.
After some free time to explore further or enjoy a relaxed lunch, we return to the hotel with time to enjoy the facilities and relax before we meet for an evening of delicious food and dancing.

Day Three : Depart Nottingham
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast with new friends, and if you are not in a hurry to leave, you may like to take advantage of the hotel's restaurant and leisure facilities (extra charges may apply if after noramal check-out time). Rooms should be vacated by 12.00 noon. However, luggage may be left with Reception until you are ready to leave.

Transport & Location
Located just a few miles from the M1 junction 26 at 296 Mansfield Road, Nottingham, NG5 2BT. On-site parking is available for a nightly fee of £12 - please register your vehicle at reception on arrival.
Nottingham Railway station is 2.2 miles away and just a 15 minute walk from The Forest Tram Stop.
Gratuities
There is often confusion on the question of gratuities, since it frequently depends on the type of holiday, location and, of course, your attitude towards tipping, as to what is normally expected. In order to give you a rough idea, we have given appropriate guidance below. The Tour Leader will be on hand to offer advice or suggestions if required but gratuities are offered entirely at the sole discretion of the individual. We suggest a group collection at the beginning of your holiday to cover drivers, guides and hotel staff (including restaurant, kitchen and reception staff) of approximately £10.
Your Tour Leader will collect this on your behalf and distribute it accordingly, thus relieving you of the burden of who, when and how much to tip. The tipping of bar staff and housekeeping will be left to your individual discretion (the rounding up of the drinks bill and a small amount left in your room on departure should cover this and would be much appreciated). As is customary, ‘the hat’ will be passed around for the driver and guide on all optional excursions. For any meals that are not included in your itinerary, restaurants expect a 10% gratuity (do check that service has not already been added to your bill). For taxis 10% of the metered fare.
Check-In / Check-Out Times
Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is by 12noon. Early and late check-in may be available at an additional charge and subject to availability.
