Day One: Arrive in New York

Day One: Arrive in New York

Welcome to New York! On arrival at the airport, we meet our driver and transfer to our hotel in the heart of Manhattan, our home for the next four nights. After settling in, we’ll gather for a welcome dinner, the perfect opportunity to relax, enjoy a delicious meal and look ahead to the exciting days of exploring New York City.

Day Two: Downtown & Brooklyn

Day Two: Downtown & Brooklyn

Today, we discover some of New York’s most iconic sights, with the city dressed in the rich colors of fall. We begin with a cruise to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, enjoying spectacular views across New York Harbor and the Manhattan skyline along the way. Back on land, we explore the historic Financial District and Wall Street, stopping to see the famous Charging Bull and Trinity Church before visiting the poignant 9/11 Memorial and Museum.
We then travel to the charming Park Slope neighborhood, where tree-lined streets and beautiful brownstone homes offer a taste of quintessential Brooklyn, with the first hints of fall color beginning to appear. With Halloween approaching, you may also spot the beginnings of Halloween decorations adorning some of the neighborhood’s famous stoops. From here, we make our way across the iconic Brooklyn Bridge, enjoying spectacular views of the Downtown Manhattan skyline. 
 
The remainder of the afternoon is at leisure to explore at your own pace.

Day Three: Upper East Side & Central Park

Day Three: Upper East Side & Central Park

Today, we explore the elegant Upper East Side, one of Manhattan’s most iconic neighborhoods and a fascinating window into New York’s Gilded Age. Enjoy a leisurely and luxurious tour through this storied district, known for its grand apartment buildings, elegant brownstones, stylish boutiques and world-renowned museums. Window-shop former mansions and grand residences that are now home to designer boutiques, and discover how Upper East Side residents embrace Halloween, from tasteful fall displays to wonderfully over-the-top decorations adorning their homes.

We’ll continue with a little gallery hopping and time to a delicious coffee, soaking up the sophisticated atmosphere of one of New York’s most fashionable neighborhoods. We then head to Central Park for a two-hour guided bike tour*. Cycling through the park offers a wonderful way to experience its peaceful paths and picturesque landscapes, with stops at some of its most famous landmarks, including Strawberry Fields, the tranquil Shakespeare Garden and the beautiful Cherry Hill Fountain. With the first hints of fall color beginning to appear across the park, it’s a memorable way to experience one of New York’s most beloved green spaces.

The remainder of the day is at leisure to continue exploring the city at your own pace.

Day Four: The High Line & Chelsea Market

Day Four: The High Line & Chelsea Market

After breakfast, we discover one of New York’s most distinctive attractions with a stroll along the High Line, an elevated former railway transformed into a spectacular urban park. In mid-October, the gardens take on a fall feel, with seasonal plantings, colorful foliage and contemporary art installations providing a beautiful backdrop to the Manhattan skyline. We continue into the vibrant Meatpacking District before enjoying free time at Chelsea Market, where food stalls, independent shops and lively cafés offer plenty of tempting choices for lunch or a little shopping.

The afternoon is yours to enjoy at your own pace, perhaps taking the opportunity for some last-minute shopping or exploring more of the city, before we come together this evening for a special farewell dinner.

Day Five: Depart from New York

Day Five: Depart from New York

Enjoy a leisurely final morning in New York, with time to savor a last breakfast, take one final stroll through the city or perhaps pick up a few last-minute souvenirs or holiday gifts. At the appropriate time, we’ll meet for our transfer to the airport, bringing our unforgettable New York adventure to a close as we board our flight home.
