What you’ll be doing
Day One: Arrive in Nairobi
Day Two: Journey to the famed Masai Mara Game Reserve

Day Three: A Full Day in the Wild Masai Mara
This morning, we have the option to start our day with a hot air balloon safari at sunrise, followed by a delicious bush breakfast and a glass of bubbly (please see below for pre-bookable optional excursions).
Spend a full day on safari in the Masai Mara, a place where nature unfolds in the most spectacular way. The reserve is home to the Big Five – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard, along with cheetahs, hyenas, and over 450 species of birds.

Day Four: From the Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, we depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, a lesser-known gem nestled in the Rift Valley. Famous for its flocks of flamingos and large rhino population, the park offers a scenic contrast to the open plains of the Mara. We can look out for leopards lounging in trees, white rhinos grazing, and a variety of antelope and birdlife.

Day Five: Scenic Train Journey to Mombasa
After a final morning game drive as we leave Lake Nakuru, we return to Nairobi to board Kenya's modern First Class Standard Gauge Railway. Sit back and enjoy the changing scenery as we travel across the country to the Indian Ocean coast.

Day Six to Nine: Relaxation & Leisure in Mombasa
After the excitement of your safari, enjoy four full days to relax at your all-inclusive beachfront resort overlooking the Indian Ocean. Unwind beside the pool, stroll along the sandy beach, take part in the resort's activities or simply soak up the sunshine. For those wishing to explore further, optional excursions are available to discover the history and culture of Mombasa.

Day Ten: Depart Mombasa
After breakfast, enjoy some free time before check out. In the afternoon you’ll be transferred to Moi International Airport for your flight to Nairobi. Upon arrival make your own way to your onward destination.

Day 1 | Sarova Panafric Hotel
The Sarova Panafric is located just minutes from Nairobi’s Central Business District, offering a peaceful escape surrounded by lush gardens. Guests enjoy a range of facilities including an outdoor pool, spa and wellness centre (charges may apply), fully equipped gym, restaurant and poolside bar. Rooms feature modern amenities such as air-conditioning, flat-screen TVs, mini-fridges, tea & coffee facilities, safes, and contemporary ensuite bathrooms.
Day 2 - 3 | Mara Sopa Lodge
Mara Sopa Lodge is a welcoming, traditionally styled safari lodge set on the hillside overlooking the famed Masai Mara, offering sweeping views of the surrounding savannah.
Guests enjoy a free-form swimming pool, buffet restaurant, lounge and poolside bars, and easy access to game drives, nature walks and cultural visits. It’s an ideal base for a comfortable and scenic stay in one of Africa’s most wildlife-rich destinations.
Its thatched cottages feature comfortable beds, en-suite bathrooms, mosquito nets and private verandas, creating a warm and authentic atmosphere.
Day 4 | Lake Nakuru Lodge
Lake Nakuru Lodge sits inside the National Park, giving you spectacular views over the lake, acacia woodlands, plains, and the roaming wildlife. The lodge has a restaurant, pool, bar, and spa.
The lodge offers spacious en-suite rooms, most with private balconies or verandas overlooking the park, lake or gardens, great for watching animals or birds from your room.
Lake Nakuru Lodge combines comfortable safari-style lodging with immersive access to nature.
Day 5 - 9 | Voyager Beach Resort
The Voyager Beach Resort is a vibrant beachfront resort on Nyali Beach, Mombasa.
Guests enjoy multiple swimming pools, direct beach access, water sports, tennis courts, and a variety of restaurants and bars, making it perfect for both relaxation and fun-filled activities.
Rooms feature en-suite bathrooms, private balconies, air-conditioning, fridges and tea & coffee facilities.

We recommend that you check passport and visa requirements for the country you are visiting at the State Department if you have a U.S. Passport. Most countries require that your passport have at least six months validity when traveling internationally, and many require that you have one to two blank visa pages for either an entry stamp or visa. - This tour includes several scenic road journeys between Kenya's national parks. Some transfers can take up to 6 hours, with comfort stops along the way.
- Safari game drives take place in 4WD Land Cruisers with pop-up roofs for optimal wildlife viewing. Each vehicle carries a maximum of six guests.
- A good level of mobility is required to board the safari vehicles and to fully enjoy the included sightseeing. Some days involve early starts to maximise wildlife viewing opportunities.
- Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed, but our experienced driver-guides will do everything possible to provide the best safari experience.
- The order of the itinerary and included activities may be subject to change due to operational requirements, weather conditions or local circumstances.
- Kenya has a strict ban on single-use plastic bags. Bringing plastic carrier bags into the country is prohibited and may result in fines. We recommend using reusable or fabric bags for your travels.
- Luggage is limited to one soft-sided suitcase or holdall per person due to space restrictions in the safari vehicles.
