Exclusive to Solos guests only, nestled in a quiet and serene location, our hotel is just a five-minute walk from the port where our ferry transfer from the mainline arrives and a 10-15 minute stroll to the lively centre of Thassos Town (Limenas) perfectly situated for exploring the island’s beaches, villages, and hidden gems.

Thassos Town, also known as Limenas, is the vibrant heart of Thassos Island—a place where ancient history and relaxed island life blend effortlessly. Set against a backdrop of lush green hills and turquoise waters, this charming harbour town offers something for every traveler. Wander through atmospheric streets lined with traditional whitewashed houses, inviting cafés, and locally-owned shops offering handmade crafts, regional products, and souvenirs. Explore ancient ruins, including a well-preserved amphitheatre and the archaeological museum, which reveal the town’s rich Greco-Roman heritage.

Our exclusive, family-run hotel offers a warm welcome and a true taste of Greece in the heart of Thassos Town (Limenas). Ideally located just a short stroll from charming local bars, traditional tavernas, shops, and the bustling port, Hotel Macedon is the perfect base for discovering the island's authentic character.
The main town centre and the nearest beach are just a 10-15 minute walk away, making it easy to explore by day and enjoy relaxed evenings nearby. Back at the hotel, unwind by the delightful foot-shaped pool, or relax in the peaceful gardens—the perfect setting for a laid-back week or two in the sun.
New to the Solos Exclusives collection, this inviting retreat promises convenience, and a friendly atmosphere our guests love—making it an ideal choice for your next adults-only getaway.

Rooms include ensuite modern bathroom area, flat screen satellite TV, fridge, safe, hairdryer, air-conditioning, kettle, free Wi-Fi. All 25 rooms have either an open or closed balcony or terrace. Pool-facing rooms (7) and a larger two bedroom pool-facing suite (1) with kitchenette are available at a supplement. Pool towels are provided with a refundable €25 deposit.
All rooms are accessed by stairs (no rooms are ground floor level). 1st floor are accessed by 17 steps and 2nd floor by 32 steps.

We recommend that you check passport and visa requirements for the country you are visiting at the State Department if you have a U.S. Passport. Most countries require that your passport have at least six months validity when traveling internationally, and many require that you have one to two blank visa pages for either an entry stamp or visa. As a general rule, please check that your passport has six months validity beyond your planned trip, and if not, please renew your passport with plenty of time to provide Solos with your updated passport information by the final payment due date.
