Day One: Arrival Day - Depart Palma, Majorca 22:00

We'll depart the UK for Palma, Majorca, where we'll board Marella Voyager for this fabulous cruise.

  • All Inclusive
Day Two: Mahon, Menorca 11:00-18:00

Day Two: Mahon, Menorca 11:00-18:00

Menorca's capital, Mahon, lies on the east coast of the island. It's freckled with elegant 18th-century mansions, which sit alongside quaint churches and a Gothic cathedral. We'll see the underwater mussel farms as we sail into the world's second-deepest natural harbour and, once ashore, head for Placa Esplanada, the city's main square.
When we're not sipping wine on the waterfront of Mahon, we'll weave our way through gorgeous scenery to the fishing village of Fornells. It's renowned for its lobster dishes and King Juan Carlos of Spain regularly pops over from his summer palace in Majorca.

We'll get a bird's-eye view of the island when we head up its highest peak, Monte Toro, the spiritual centre of the island.

We can explore the island's country tracks, flowery meadows and oak forests on horseback. It's a great way to get off the beaten track and take in Menorca's standout scenery.

We'll head to Menorca's old capital, Ciutadella, where we'll find hidden plazas and centuries-old churches. There's a stylish waterfront these days, too.

Day Three: At Sea

Day Three: At Sea

As we sail towards our next port of call, Naples, we can explore or relax on this lovely ship.

  • All Inclusive

Day Four: Naples (for Pompeii & Capri), Italy 07:00 - 17:00

Day Four: Naples (for Pompeii & Capri), Italy 07:00 - 17:00

Naples is Italy's most red-blooded city. This is a place where the pizza is so good that people don’t wait for a table in a restaurant – they order it to take away from street-side windows. And it's the city where the soundtrack is the beeping of moped horns. For all its joie de vivre, we wouldn't know Naples is actually one of the oldest continuously  inhabited cities in the world. The city centre is actually a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and it's dripping with ancient architecture, cathedrals and churches.

We'll visit the time-frozen cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum, whose citizens were stopped in their tracks by the famous eruptions of 79 AD. We can teeter on the brink of Mount Vesuvius, the only active volcano we can climb in Europe.

We'll visit Spaccanapoli – a lively street that runs through the heart of Naples. It's dotted with Baroque churches and street food places.

  • All Inclusive
Day Five: Civitavecchia (for Rome), Italy 07:00 - 19:00

Day Five: Civitavecchia (for Rome), Italy 07:00 - 19:00

Few cities on earth have the power to bowl us over quite like Rome. Around what feels like every corner, we'll find historical monuments, charming piazzas and authentic Italian restaurants – not to mention enough designer shops to keep us browsing for a year. The Spanish Steps, the Colosseum and the Trevi Fountain are just a few of Rome’s highlights – the historic centre is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We'll throw a coin into one of Rome's most famous landmarks – the Trevi Fountain. Legend has it, it means we'll return to the city one day.

We'll relive the days of the gladiators at the eye-popping Colosseum. Big enough to hold 50,000 spectators, it has stood the test of time and remains one of Rome’s most famous landmarks.

We'll head for Vatican City, the heart of the Catholic Church, feasting our eyes on treasures like St Peter's Basilica, the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel, where Michelangelo's ceiling masterpiece awaits us.

  • All Inclusive
Day Six: Ajaccio, Corsica 09:00 - 15:00

Day Six: Ajaccio, Corsica 09:00 - 15:00

With its rugged peaks, emerald countryside and sparkling blue waters, Corsica looks like it belongs on a postcard. Rising up from one of the most beautiful gulfs in the world is Ajaccio, a town oozing charm. An impressive place in its own right, it's also our gateway to the unspoilt scenery and sleepy little towns that this sun-soaked isle is famous for. One word of advice – we'll want plenty of spare batteries for our cameras.

We'll get back to nature in the countryside that surrounds the city. Taking a coach and train trip, we can explore the maquis – the rich green hillside that's unique to Corsica.

For something a bit different, we'll head for Cupulatta Park – Europe's only tortoise protection centre. From babies measuring just a few centimetres to wizened, decades-old grandfathers, we'll find them all here.

We'll check out the statue of Napoleon Bonaparte – Ajaccio's most famous son – at the tree-lined Place Maréchal-Foch, or visit his former childhood home, which is now a museum.

  • All Inclusive
Day Seven: Palamos, Spain 10:00 - 17:00

Day Seven: Palamos, Spain 10:00 - 17:00

Fringed by a ribbon of sun-kissed sand on the Costa Brava, Palamos began as a tiny fishing village. The harbour still buzzes each afternoon as the day's catch goes on sale, with prawns among the best in the Med. We can kick back on the beach, or head off to explore the coastline and nearby villages.

We'll wander through the old quarter's narrow streets, then head to the harbour to visit the Fishing Museum for a glimpse into Palamos' maritime heritage.

Nearby seafront towns like Tossa de Mar and Lloret are full of lively promenades, long beaches, medieval walls and even clifftop gardens.

We'll discover Girona, a beautifully preserved medieval city known for its colourful riverside houses, historic streets and rich cultural heritage.

  • All Inclusive
Day Eight: Palma, Majorca - 04:00 Arrival

Day Eight: Palma, Majorca - 04:00 Arrival

After a final breakfast, we'll depart Marella Voyager to make our way to the airport for our flight home, taking many lovely memories with us.

Essential Information

Passport Requirements
You’ll need your passport for all Marella cruises. Without it, you won’t be able to board the ship.

From the 12th October 2025 the EU is introducing a new European Entry System (EES) that will be phased in and fully operational by the 10th April 2026. Non-EU nationals including British passport holders will now be required to complete biometric checks on arrival and exit to Schengen countries, which will include facial recognition and fingerprints. There is no cost for this, and no action needs to be taken prior to departure.

TUI/Marella requires your passport to be less than 10 years old on the date you enter your destination and valid for at least 3 months from your departure date from the destination country for most European countries. However, for some non-EU countries, and for specific destinations like Turkey, requirements can vary, with some needing up to six months validity from arrival or a blank page for stamps. You are responsible for checking the passport rules for your specific destination and your nationality through the TUI website or the UK government's Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) website.

What adaptors should I bring for cabin sockets?
You can use either a European or a US 2-pin adaptor in the cabins.
What is a tender port?
It’s not always possible to tie a ship up at a dock. If this is the case, the ship will anchor a little way out from the shore, and use tender boats to get you to and from the ship. Tender ports are indicated in the itinerary where possible. You’ll still get plenty of time in the port, plus you can use the tender services to go back and forth from the ship as much as you like. Guests with disabilities or mobility issues will need to have some independent mobility to step in and out of the tender boat as our crew aren’t allowed to lift you.
Do you cater for disabilities?
Ask for for advice on things like ship accessibility, bringing equipment onboard, disabled facilities, and medical care. Marella has also teamed up with AccessAble, who have created detailed access guides for each ship. Visit their website to find out more. All Marella ships also have a small number of adapted cabins for less mobile passengers. Just remember to make sure one is definitely available before you book. Making sure your wellbeing is looked after at all times while you’re onboard is really important. That’s why if you need help with daily tasks, like using the bathroom, eating, or moving around the ship, you’ll need to travel with a companion or a personal assistant who can help you. Unfortunately, the crew aren’t able to help with these kinds of responsibilities.
What sort of medical facilities can I expect?
Each ship has a medical centre and there are English-speaking doctors and nurses on board who keep surgery hours. For emergencies, there’s always someone on call. If you need to pay for a medical procedure, the first £200 of your bill will be payable to the medical provider onboard.
How do I pay for things onboard?
All Marella ships have a cash-free system. Everything is priced in sterling and is charged to your cabin account. At the end of your cruise, you can settle it in cash, or by credit or debit card. If you decide to settle your bill in cash, you will be asked for up to £200 deposit per cabin per week.
How much can I expect to pay for a drink onboard?
As Marella ships are all inclusive as standard, so selected draught beer and cider, wines by the glass, branded spirits and aperitifs, and a range of cocktails and soft drinks by the glass are all included in the price of your cruise. Solos guests have been upgraded to the Premium All Inclusive drinks package for an extra range of drinks, which are normally chargeable. These include upgraded cocktails, premium spirits, Lavazza coffee, soft drink cans and a 1.5 litre bottle of water per cabin, per day.
What should I pack?
Packing for a cruise is just like packing for any other holiday, but there are a few things to bear in mind. Hairdryers and all towels – including pool towels – are provided. And don’t panic if you forget any essentials as our onboard shops stock things like toothpaste and other toiletries. Other than that, it’s a good idea to bring a light jacket with you, as there’s often a strong sea breeze.

Our dress code policy’s easily broken down into Beachwear, Casual and Smart. The first is a ‘come as you are’ affair, so bikinis and trunks get the thumbs up, plus we ask that you wear something on your feet for safety reasons. Meanwhile, Casual speaks for itself – we’re talking tops and shorts or a sundress. Then you’ve got Smart, which is when you’ll need to dress up a bit. Put your sports or swimwear away, and opt for trousers, smart tailored shorts or a skirt or dress, a shirt or polo shirt and smart shoes, so no trainers or flip flops. If you want to add a jacket or tie, that’s up to you. But our gala evenings, formal nights and dress to impress nights give you the chance to get really suited and booted.

Each of our restaurants has a dress code, and this can differ depending on the time of day, but we’ll always let you know. Finally, think about what’s suitable to wear on excursions. Some churches, for example, ask for legs and shoulders to be covered. Islamic countries have strict laws on dress, and in certain areas it will be required that you cover your shoulders and knees.

When visiting Mosques or other holy sites, women may be required to cover their hair, arms and legs. Men will be required to wear long trousers and a top with sleeves.

Top tips: • Attach a label to your hold luggage with your contact details on – this will help reunite you with your bag if it gets lost. • Always carry valuables, medication and other essentials in your hand luggage.
What time do I have to check-out of my cabin?
You’ll normally need to leave your cabin by 8am on your last day, but you can still use all the onboard facilities until your transfer arrives. Speak to reception about a courtesy cabin so you can freshen up before you leave. Alternatively, you can organise a late check-out. Again, reception will advise on this.
Do you cater to special diets?
Of course. If you've got any dietary requirements, please make sure you mention it when you book and let the restaurant manager know once you're onboard. Marella also provides vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and diabetic-friendly options on request.  There may be some requests that can't be accommodated, so it's important you let us know when you book your cruise. Take a look at a sample menu to see the kind of dishes on offer.
Can I do my own things in ports?
It’s up to you if you want to explore without the help of a guide. The onboard Destination Services team can give you plenty of tips. Just remember that one of the benefits of the organised excursions is that if the tour is delayed, the ship will wait. If you’re on your own and you’re not back on the ship in time, the ship won't wait for you.
